I bought this bag at a yard sale for $5. I wanted to see if it is authentic and if anyone knows any info about it. I think it might be an outlet bag?

I'm not sure there is and absolute definition written somewhere for what year a bag would have to be made to be considered vintage.

If you're actively looking for a vintage bag, you would be more likely to find one if the bag has a random serial number, rather than a style number.

Personally, I would consider a Coach bag that is 25 years old a vintage bag. That would mean any bag made 1987 or earlier.

I bought this bag on ebay and had it authenticated before I won it:

I received the bag today and can't help but notice that the one I received is distinctly different from the one posted on ebay. Here are the pictures I took..

I can't help but feel that I've been burned. Could someone please tell me if the bag I've received is authentic and if so, have the zippers etc been changed? I would really, really appreciate any input! Thank you :)

The one in the auction is style 9950 and an authentic Janice's Legacy.

The one in your picture is style 9966 BUT if that say HT-9966 then it's a fake Legacy Zip.

I would contact the seller immediately and inform them that what you received is NOT what you paid for. Tell them you want all your money back including shipping both ways.

Edited to Add: If the seller doesn't comply, let them know you will open a dispute!
