The pictures aren't so good, but it appears OK and from the "Legacy East" collection, though I don't know the official "name". Probably a Hobo or a Cross Body?

It's definitely not vintage though, since the creed information indicates it was made in 2000.

Item: Black Legacy Leather Hobo 9058 (USA, 2001)
Seller: Salvation Army $10.03
Comments: This bag is beat-up and filthy, but for $10 bucks I figured it was worth trying to rehab it. Besides, the larger-sized, older-style bags are not common, and if I can't rehab it I can probably reuse the strap and hangtag for another bag! Please give an opinion on authenticity, thank you.

In my opinion it's an authentic Legacy Hobo. It's kind of sad looking now, but I know you can fix er up!

(By the way, I love your solution to the "flapping strap" - what a great idea which I intend to use).

The seller needs to understand that if she thinks it's fake she shouldn't be selling it, she's breaking the law. It's a cheaply made piece of junk. I'm not positive of the name, but it's not a "Speedy".

It looks like a Chadwick Satchel which is style number 9928, though that one was made before style numbers.

Wait for other opinions on this one!
