Fake, sorry. Misaligned center and seam, always-fake C lining inside any C-pattern bag, fake creed and serial number. I hope you can get your money back, whoever sold you that violated US federal law.
That nasty shiny gold (or sometimes black or brown) acetate lining with those MINI-Cs is always fake.

It's a surprisingly close fake except for a few obvious mistakes, including a bogus serial number and a style number 12988 that belongs to a fabric Crossbody, pic below, although all the fakes-selling sites seem to use it for a Holly print Madison. I'd guess that the seller has been warned before that it's fake and is ignoring the warnings, the item description says "IF YOUR ARE IN ANY WAY DISSATISFIED WITH WHAT I SAY AND WHAT YOUR RECEIVE, PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA 'CONTACT SELLER' - (PLEASE DO NOT USE CONTACT SELLER 'ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED').

OH BOY. I just zoomed in on the label. They misspelled the word "Trimmed". It's spelled TEIMMED. I guess I'd better get out my glasses the next time! Also, the label's outer edges aren't perfect, either in shape or stitching.
I did report it right after I posted it. I convinced myself I knew enough to report it and I hated to see it end before someone reported that thing.
I bought this at my Goodwill. I will be trying to return it. I've pointed out fakes to them whenever I spot them. I see many many fakes. No serial number, etc. Poor Kate Spade.......there's at least two fakes every time I go in. "They" don't care when I tell them. They have so many part-time staff members. And they "miss" authentic Coach bags frequently. (And I get them super cheap!) So expecting them to spot the fakes seems like an impossibility. Fortunately you all are here doing your good work. Thanks again.
