The bag appears to be an authentic Stewardess. I wouldn't purchase it without asking "katev" or one of rehab girls.

:smile1:

Thanks DemRam. I have been drawn into the rehab craziness. If I get it it will be my 5th. I follow Katev and the others so much I feel like there should be a fan club. Only thing I don't want to touch with a 10 foot pole is trying to fix torn edges. :) thanks, again!

You're welcome. I did add the following to my original post after your response.:smile1:

You can dye the bag to cover pen marks, (I don't think you can remove pen marks) but I'm not sure what you do if the leather piping is messed up.

That leather piping can be a real problem and I might be tempted to ask the seller for a closer photo of that portion...or at least ask if there are any "breaks" in the leather.

Good luck. I agree about the Fan Club. Kate and the other ladies do a spectacular job with those poor neglected bags. They bring them back to life!

:D

There are no other pockets, there is a divider.

If it's not a pocket on the front of the bag, I'm hoping Noshoepolish can take a look at this photo and the ones in your earlier post
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-694619-827.html#post22337949.

The only style I know of that looks like that is supposed to have full-length pockets under the front flap and also on the back of the bag.

The Lightweight line apparently started some time in 1987. I've included one of their pages from the 1987 Holiday book that give some details about the line. The line name was changed to Soho some time in early to mid-1993.

The Laurel Bag was made in 1991 and 1992 and the color name was probably Ivy.

Most of the Lightweights and Sohos from the 1980s and 1990s had four-number style numbers beginning with the numbers 40** or 41**, but NOT all styles starting with 4 belong to one of those lines.

Thanks so much!

Item: Black and gray scarf
Seller: Savers $5.25
Dimensions: 21" x 21"
Comments: The picture of the reverse side of the brown tag didn't come out, but it says (in English and in French, I think) "Made in China" "Dry Clean Only" "100% Silk" and it has some numbers: RN26128 and CA22608. I would appreciate your opinion on authenticity, thank you!
