Comments: Hi. I am new to the forum although I have been collecting coach for a few years, though not near as long as some of you all! I found this at Goodwill and I am fairly certain it is a coach purse from the 2000 Mercer twill collection. I just need to be certain it is real before I attempt to sell it. It is about 7x6x3 in. Hopefully the pictures will show up. Thank you!

It's genuine and was called a Mercer Mini Hobo.

Can you please authenticate this bag for me? I found it at the Good will this afternoon and the strap is throwing me off a little. Well that and I am not fully confident on my ability to spot a fake :p
The adjustable holes on the strap are a different color than the brass hardware, might be from age but here is a link to photos

Creed is stamped F0M-9951

I think it's ok, but those gray-colored grommets on the strap always worry me.

I don't have names for them, maybe DemRam might know. But they're genuine and probably from the 1980s.

And yes, vodka could be considered potato juice. ;)

I think the 1st one is called a "Chunky Bag" though I'm not sure why that name.

The 2nd one I've never seen, though it certainly looks authentic.

(I agree about the Vodka...it's a vegetable)

:D

and Yay! More proof that it's sometimes worth the insanity (and insane people) to look at those $1 grab bags at the thrift store. Thanks Hyacinth!

Thank you so much Hyacinth! I appreciate your expertise.

I know right?! I called Coach and they said the # is accurate but once again, correct numbers do not always mean authentic bags...n

Numbers don't prove anything, nothing can be authenticated over the phone, and even if 95 percent of Coach employees had a bag right in front of them, they couldn't tell if it was real or fake.

Hahahahahahaha that's the truth!!! I had a woman tell me the other day that the numbers in one of my older bags is not real, her exact words were "these numbers we have never used this is not a Coach" ...meanwhile I know 100% it's authentic and was purchased from a coach store I just laughed and said "is that so?" hmmmm bwahaha

Comments: I posted this over in the bargains thread and am pretty certain it's real but I thought I would go ahead and get it authenticated by the experts. Thanks.

Hello,
I bought this bag late last year from ebay. It is the Coach Kristin Willow small bag and the matching wallet.....with so many fakes around I just would like to be sure....At the time, I was given the tag and receipts, but I have thrown it out...which I shouldn't have. Anyway, I have posted as much photos as I can think of is necessary

Item Name: Coach Kristin Willow small bag and wallet
