Comments: Hi ladies! I found this in a thrift store, could you all be able to tell if it's authentic and what style/name it is.

The number isn't in my files but the details look ok. It's a Demi made of fabric, maybe wool felt or something like that. And Signature C lining was used a lot in bags from about 2000 to 2006, it's not a problem as long as the fabric is a genuine Coach design and the outside doesn't have any Signature or Coach logo fabric.

Be careful with most of the information you find in those "authenticity guides", just having C lining doesn't mean the bag is fake. There are plenty of obviously fake Signature C linings and also plenty of genuine ones.

Hyacinth, what would we do without you? Thank - you so much!

:hugs:

I have been rehabbing: bathing, conditioning, and shining up the brass of almost all of the bags I get .. thanks to the help from the rehabbers on tPF. (But this one is super clean looking everywhere! ). It's amazing what comes out of some of these bags, even when they appear to be clean! I really enjoy working with the fine leather of old Coach bags. I so appreciate them! :smile1::smile1:

Or else I was seeing double after all those Bloody Marys and Margaritas. :D

No pounding head the next morning. :D
Very True Hyacinth! I'm clear headed this morning:):smile1:

Comments: Please authenticate this.. I need a belt bag for my upcoming Bangkok trip.. Thanks in advance.. :)

It's a genuine Hamptons Waist bag of some kind similar to a Weekend Field Bag or Pocket Zip. Coach had 2 different names and style numbers for those styles but I don't think I've seen this style before. I'd love to see a creed patch to be sure but it doesn't look like it had one.

Can you please authenticate this bag for me? I found it at the Good will this afternoon and the strap is throwing me off a little. Well that and I am not fully confident on my ability to spot a fake :p
The adjustable holes on the strap are a different color than the brass hardware, might be from age but here is a link to photos

Comments: Hi. I am new to the forum although I have been collecting coach for a few years, though not near as long as some of you all! I found this at Goodwill and I am fairly certain it is a coach purse from the 2000 Mercer twill collection. I just need to be certain it is real before I attempt to sell it. It is about 7x6x3 in. Hopefully the pictures will show up. Thank you!

Found these two small make-up type bags in grab bags at the local thrift.
My guess is authentic, but I've never seen real ones 'in real life' so want to be sure, and would very much appreciate any ID / age info if they are real, to add to my general knowledge of Coach accessories.
Both are in my possession.

Black Leather - Top Brass zip, different pull than I am accustomed to.
Size Approx: 8" L x 4" H x 1.5" D
Has Hang Tag, single sided
Has Monogram, also has a Coach logo imprint lower right front
Lined with striped pillow ticking type of fabric.

British Tan Leather - Top Brass Zip
Size approx 9" L x 4.5" x 2.5" D
Has Hang Tag, separated
Has inside leather slip pocket
Lined with striped pillow ticking type of fabric.
Has a Coach logo imprint on the bottom

Pix attached, if you need any more details or pix, let me know, and thank you as always.. I got behind in keeping up with the thread (- I try to read every day in the name of Coach education) so have been back-reading.. holy guacamole.. WOW

I don't have names for them, maybe DemRam might know. But they're genuine and probably from the 1980s.

And yes, vodka could be considered potato juice. ;)
