No, you're not doing anything wrong. No one here apparently recognises it, we don't have a regular poster who specializes in current or recent styles. Try asking at the main Coach forum and tell them that I sent you there since there's a better chance someone there familiar with recent styles will know what it is and that it's genuine. Put something like "Help with Kristin Embossed Python Crossbody" in the post title, and explain what you need the authentication for.

Good evening ladies! I found a dark leather city bag today at an estate sale! Could you please tell me when this bag was made? The coach rep told me it was made in the 70s but I am confused because of the number on the patch.

According to the product info on the coach website, the city bag has been part of the collection since 1987. If you look at the classics section on the website most of the bags info tells the year that they each came out.

So I already bought this, albiet carelessly, I think I had it mixed up with another one I was watching because I remember thinking the creed photo looked fake in the photos and moved on... but I sniped (and won) the wrong auction ! :(

It arrived today and I was expecting a different stewardess..but received this one. Careless I know. So the creed is blurry, it's not just the photos. Also, the leather on the inside bottom is different than any of my other, genuine stewardesses. Can I have confirmation that it is fake so I may return it?
