I have four bags purchased last night. I couldn't find anything wrong with them so I went ahead and paid for them. The seemed pretty consistent of what I have seen on eBay (for what that is worth). Just want to make sure they are authentic. TIA

1. Medium Framed Pouch from 1996

2. Companion Flap from 1996

3. Legacy West Large Backpack from 2001

4. Bonnie's Legacy Bucket from 2000.

All look good to me.

Wait from other opinions.

:smile1:

Just a Heads-up for everyone - we're a little short-handed for a while due to vacations so if any of you established posters are specialists in recent styles and have a good library of photos you can use to help with authentications, please feel free to chime in.

1st one 4925 is the Sonoma "Mini Backpack" from 1996.

2nd one 4911 is the Sonoma "Small Backpack" from 1994.

Both look fine. Make sure to check the measurements of both of them...they're both rather small...(depending on what you need to carry with you)...especially the first one.

:smile1:

wow, thank you so much for the information :D
oh i thought they are the same size, hmn, hope this is not too much trouble, would u mind helping me to take a look whether the picture below is the mini or the small?

thank you so much :smile1:

Sorry, didn't post the hardware & inside of the thrift store bag, so here it is. My camera isn't the best, so I hope they're ok. My daughter found this bag at a local thrift store the other day. Looks real to me, but I'm not sure and if anyone knows the pattern/style, it would be appreciated too. Inside little tag says "made in china", the zipper is a YKK, no creed tag, lining is thick & smooth, outside sateen is thick & smooth. Stitching looks even & nice. Hardware is heavy, no chips, peeling, etc. Thanks.
It looks fine.

I had a bag authenticated here the other day and then made an offer on it. The seller then told me they went to the consigner of the bag and my offer was accepted and they would change the price on the bin and that I should act fast.
I check the auction and the price is the same. The seller sends another message telling me oops we made a mistake the bag is dark navy not black and that they relisted another Willis from a previous sale. They said the condition was the same but this consignor would not budge on the price! They didn't change any of the wording in the listing except the color and in the title they put Mint instead of Like Nu. So am I supposed to believe they had two bags from 2 different consignors that were used as theatrical props and never street carried?
I just wanted to give a heads up because I feel like the seller wasn't honest with me! So I am just going to keep looking. Has anyone else dealt with this seller and had a problem?

I'm familiar with that seller and find it hard to believe they'd play those kind of games. I've purchased quite a few things from them and never had a problem.

You also have to understand that many large sellers employ assistants to help with the daily details, and sometimes questions from buyers can get lost or go to someone not familiar with the situation.

They apparently made a mistake on the color and revised the listing to change it from black to dark navy but beyond that I can't say. If the consignor refused to accept your offer there's not much they can do.
Although I haven't done business with Silver-coach, I've contacted the seller several times and find her to be prompt and responsive.

I'm sure that for the listings you refer to, she just did "sell similar" and forgot to change some details in the description. Just the other day, I looked at a listing and saw an incorrect style number in the title although the description and pictures showed a creed with the correct information.

I emailed the seller, informed her of the error and within 12 hours, received a response thanking me for the heads up and letting me know she corrected her error.

Sometimes honest mistakes happen and although we're used to seeing and reading about scammers, not all sellers are scammers.

Please help~

Item Name (if you know it): Not sure. NY basic bag?

Then attach any photos: please see below for the photos. Sorry for these oversized photos, I really don't know how to resize them.

TIA!

Hello Ladies!! I need some help...I won two of these bags one is a pink signature and the other is a black signature tote. The other two are Hamptons totes (as far as I know) and I want to be sure they are authentic as I want to sell them now. Can you verify authenticity on these 4 bags? I would very much like to know more about the pink bag....It just feels expensive somehow...I know that sounds weird.
