Anyway, can you please authenticate this wallet? I feel pretty good about it. The quality seems to be there but the stitching is just a tiny bit crooked on the inside. However, I have noticed stitching like this in some of my other authentic wallets that I bought directly from Coach. The ebay seller shipped this with a dust bag that looks just like a purse dust bag but is smaller. Do wallets ever come with dust bags?

It always helps if you post the style number. It should be on the price tag if you still have it. And without photos of what I'm sure is either a genuine bag or a listing from a trusted seller, there isn't much I can do to authenticate it. It takes more to authenticate a bag than just looking at one or two details.

Thank you. I have never bought a Coach wallet at full price, so I wouldn't know about the dust bag. I think the wallet is fine. My only worries are that I have seen counterfeit versions on ebay, which are close to the real thing, and the seller doesn't have a big history in selling Coach, but it isn't like she had a bunch of items listed - it is more like she was selling her own personal item. When an item has a tag, though, you wonder why she didn't just return it since she would have gotten more that way unless it was a gift or she bought it with a 40% letter. I don't think I have seen a counterfeit in this color but that doesn't mean they aren't making them.

I'm glad you checked. There are more fakes in circulation right now than I've seen in years, and anyone buying from a third-party seller has to be really careful.

Exactly. And unless someone actually owns the same wallet and knows beyond a doubt that it's genuine, wallets are almost impossible to authenticate. That's why I don't like to get involved with them, especially the newer ones.

And of course I can't comment on the seller's record since that information wasn't in your post. (COUGH). So I'll leave that analysis up to you.

It looks fine to me. It's a "Carnival Bag" from 1995.
