Sorry, what colors newer styles came in is a question that really needs to be asked at the main Coach forum. It's possible the color was sold out quickly or was made as a retailer exclusive, in which case it wouldn't show up in the Drilldown

I also have this bag in red and am wondering about the stitching on the inside tag of the first bag.

I'm not sure what part of the stitching is worrying you? If you mean the few doubled-up stitches, that happened sometimes in genuine bags. Both totes look ok to me.

It's fake. Just the fact that the right and left sides aren't mirror images of each other is enough in this case, no other prooof is needed. But in addition the creed stitching is sloppy and very uneven, the Coach stamp on the front is the wrong size and in the wrong position, and the leather is either very cheap or is actually vinyl. And of course, the size of the Cs is wrong.

I hope you can get your money back.

Approx. 10.5"w X 9.5"h X 4"d Strap drop to buckles 10"
Is it a Legacy Large Hobo #9058 from 1993?

It's the "Legacy Hobo" from 2003 - not 1993.

It looks fine to me.

The first post on page One of this thread explains how authentication requests should be worded. Both of these seem to be ok but it always helps to see the seller's other listings and check their selling history.

It's fake. CSU is not a valid prefix for any bag made by Coach at any time.

Also, style 9870 is for the Court Bag.

I figured as much but I so wanted it to be...I love this style of bag and have carried mine until it has almost fallen apart...
