I found a smilar style in all silver but haven't found the Multicolor yet. The silver color is 92677

ETA - my mistake, I didn't notice that the colors I was seeing on some of the charms were reflections from the area around the charms. The one in your photo is the silver-color one. And it didn't come in gold as far as I know. I tried running a drilldown search using the codes for both Gold and Brass and nothing came up under either. Here's the code for the silver one:

Thank you! I keep a spreadsheet of all of my Coach items including style numbers, etc. and you have been most helpful!

If it has a C lining, it's fake. There are several other big problems, but any time you see a bag with mostly C or logo patterns on the outside and a C lining you can be almost 100 percent sure that it's fake. The metal hangtag is fake too. Coach DOES use some metal hangtags but the Coach logo on that has the wrong font. And look how sloppy the stitiching around that front patch is.

Contact her and tell her you wamt a refund. If she refuses, go right to your local police department and file a complaint, selling counterfeits of any kind is illegal.

:smile1: Thanks Hyacinth & BeenBurned too for your responses!
I didn't buy it because was pretty sure it was fake, but someone else did... hope they knew what they were getting!
Thanks a bunch for the help and input... I'm learning! :D

Hi all! First-timer posting but have been lurking in the background. I found some perhaps "too good to be true" Coach bags and was wondering if you could get some help authenticating them. They are both from Goodwill and while they claim to be "authentic," it's not clear what protocol they follow in the authentication process. Any insight would be appreciated, as the auctions are ending soon. Thanks sooooo much!! :) :) :)

They're both real - a City Bag and a Winnie Bag.

As for Goodwill "authenticating" anything, it seems to be hit or miss judging by the comments of people who shop the stores. Maybe they're more careful with otems they sell online. But the only Goodwill store or store group I've ever seen asking for authentications is the San Francisco group.

Hi ladies....posted for sale on a group page on Facebook and I have my doubts.

Close ups of the clasp and half the creed: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4167989920636&set=o.192816604142534&type=1&theater

I can't verify the creed number anywhere.

Thanks ladies!!

Total FAKE, the off-center C pattern alone is enough to prove it.

I NEVER recommend buying designer items on Facebook. You have no recourse if something turns out to be fake, like most of their listings seem to be.

I'm looking at the bags listed on their "Back to album" page and I've never seen such a pile of trash in my life. At least half the "Coaches" are obvious fakes, the LVs are ALL junk, and the only genuine bags seem to be the Vera Bradleys, probably because they haven't been faked yet.
