The seller made a mistake on the first bag's serial number - it starts with an "8", not the letter P. It's a genuine early to mid-1980s Companion Bag, style 9300.

The second looks genuine but I'm wondering if the back pocket is as crooked as it looks in the photos.

thanks for the nod on the first bag.
I thought it looked crooked also, but the photos look like it's kinda plumped up weird, maybe it was stored poorly, stretched a bit. I think I'll go for it anyways, been looking for a light coloured city bag for a bit. Not sure about the "rust" colour, maybe 'rust ' is differant up here in Canada?!! lol!

It's a checkbook cover in the sateen material. My mom picked it up at a thrift store earlier today, and I am almost completely certain that it isn't authentic due to the uneven stitching in the trim (see last photo), but I'd just like to confirm my suspicion. Thanks in advance!

I agree, the stitching and piping isn't very well done. Neither are the corners, and I'm questioning the Coach stamp inside too. Checkbook covers haven't been sold separately for many years so maybe it came from a fake wallet.

Seller: Savers $4.50 after discount
Dimensions: 8” tall, 10.5” wide, 4” deep

Comments: I have wanted to find a Patricia’s Legacy bag for quite some time. One time I bought a fake one (at a higher!) but happily I was able to exchange it. This one has a few condition issues and will need a trip to the cobbler to repair the stitching on the piping, but the price was so cheap I just had to buy it! Please give an opinion on authenticity, thanks so much!
