IT.GIRL, have you seen this style before? The only place I can find it is Google, and none of them look like genuine sites. The fakes sites are calling it a Poppy Sophia, and the strap and leather trim details ARE like the Sophias. Why would a Poppy be using details from a Sophia? Almost all Poppies have soft straps and none have those strappy bits of trim at the top. I also went through the 6 months of the Wayback Machine following the October 2010 date on the creed patch and there's nothing similar. There are some Poppys from later in 2011 with the same graphics on the bottom but none with a top like a Sophia Tote. And Coach almost never mixes details from 2 different lines.

I DON'T have a good feeling about this one.

However, I lost track of the person selling this kind of bag but I've seen it posted in facebook. She's selling a lot of signature bags claiming them to be authentic. The moment I saw this bag, i was really in doubt. I pity all those who thought it is really authentic & buying them. I wanted to warn them off from this buyer but I have to be sure this bag isn't from Coach. And coming from you & your remarkable wisdom, I can say I'm not mistaken :)

Dear lostsol2006, thank you its not fake it was bought at a coach outlet its just too big for me.it would make a great laptop bag but i never take mine anywhere.i have had several people win bids and not pay.i do not and would not sell fakes. it will go out today.thank u -

I can't seem to remember any signature messenger style bags like this, only mini signature. When I google images for 5706, it shows as a mini signature messenger bag...

Any assistance with this would be appreciated

That's because ANY purse that says it's a Bean Bag on the creed is FAKE.

Did you just buy that? If you did, get your money back. Not only is the Bean Bag description fake, but the C pattern isn't correctly centered, the serial number is a complete fake and doesn't even have a year code, the creed says the bag is made of COWHIDE - in fact, there's NOTHING right about that bag!

Why didn't you have it authenticated here before you bought it?

And PLEASE read the Salearea Coach Guides at Ebay before buying any more Coaches:

If you can post a link to her Facebook page, please do and we can take a look at the other bags. If this one's fake the others probably are too and probably from the same fakes-selling websites.

5706 IS a Mini Sig. And that one looks fake to me too but I'd like to see a closer photo of the creed. The Cs are also the wrong shape and the stitching around the creed looks too thick and is doubled up. The pattern on the back is off center, the strap buckles are wrong, and the leather doesn't look good either.

Please post clear close-ups of the creed and serial number, the Coach stamp on the front of the bag, and a photo of the side showing one of the strap ends and the buckle, also any Coach name stamps that might be on the hardware.

And ALWAYS get a clear photo of the creed and serial number before you bid - and ask here for authentication.

If you buy to resell, make sure you authenticate before selling. It looks like you may have bought a fake last year.

Probably ok, but we always need to see a clear close photo of the creed and serial number to be sure.
