She is 10 inches wide by about 8 inches tall and 4 inches deep. There is a front slip pocket and the creed is on a zippered pocket that goes all the way to the bottom of the bag - not a flap pocket. I think you're correct on all counts. It's a bit harder to be sure of the time though, it could be from any time from the late 1970s to the late 80s. The Classic Shoulder Bag/Classic Pouch goes back a long way.

I hope you'll get the pics to come out ok.

Just a hint one of our regulars mentioned - sometimes if the lettering on an older or worn creed and serial is hard to read or photograph, brushing it very lightly with a pale shade of frosted or metallic eyeshadow and then wiping off the excess can help bring out the letters and numbers.

They both have zippers marked talon with round metal attachments for the zipper pull to the leather tag. I remember your rules Hyacinth (that there are no rules re zippers and Coach is not consistent), and am wondering if this one might be older than the other two? I appreciate your opinions. It is a "Skinny Tote" (adapted from the original). That is the 3rd one I've seen with that "odd" metal attachment. I had the same oddball metal "paperclip" looking attachment on a Watermelon Tote and the other one I saw was on the bag of a serious collector - who had hers authenticated by the Cashin Foundation.

I don't doubt that your bag is authentic. I think Coach was making revisions galore after Cashin left. The width of the straps wouldn't bother me at all. I have the same bag so let me know what the actual width is.

Could I please get someone to authenticate this coach bag, I bought it today at the Goodwill for $35.... Thank you

A little bit of info I don't have a couple pictures I probably should have gotten, this bag has no latch on the flap it just folds over there is 3 main pockets the middle main pocket has a zipper and there is a little zipper pocket on the inside this pocket has the creed on it. I am enclosing pictures of my find ( I hope I am doing this right, I will apologize now if I am doing it wrong)

are you able to identify this bag/year.

measurements are about 2 1/2' wide, 8 1/2' across and 10' tall.
