Can someone help me by telling me when this bag would have been made? Here are some pictures. As far as the creed goes it is very hard to see. The serial # is
No H4G-9927. The bag is made of cow hide and was made in the United States.
Thank you in advance!

The second digit is the year code, in this case 1994 if the bag is genuine.

I was hoping it was genuine! I've seen a few new ones that are fabric and leather, but wasn't sure there were vintage ones (loose use of the word here..) out there.
Thanks a lot Hyacinth.

The earliest ones in Twill that I can find and be sure of the year are exactly like this one and from the 1986 catalog. There may have been earlier ones but I don't have the catalogs from those years.

My mum would like to buy a Sophia in this particular shade (Pink/Tuberose?). I don't see it on the Coach online store so I'm a bit wary about getting it from this seller. I'd appreciate it if someone could give input on whether it's likely to be authentic or not.

Item: 320864860294
Seller: diidiid

If this isn't real, could someone recommend a good place to get a Black Sophia (18620)? We're in Singapore but we can do shipping from the US. Thanks!

It looks ok to me, but more opinions are always appreciated.

I don't see any obvious red flags but with one picture, it's nearly impossible to authenticate it.

If you can post pictures of the creed, a clear closeup of the horse and carriage plaque and a photo of the inside of the tag, those would help.

Before bidding, be sure to contact and get approval from any seller who doesn't sell internationally, even if you are planning to use a US address.

I can only imagine the resources and catalogues you have! You must have a room full! I'm intrigued now to search out more Twill options. I didn't even know they existed before....so much to learn!:D

I really think Coach should have archives available to the public. And a museum... of course with a great coffee shop in it, AND a store... but I digress....lol!

They do have stores; both outlet and boutique! :smile1:
