Hi. Received as gift and don't like it. Would like to give it away, but not if it's fake. Thanks.

It looks ok to me

Sure. It does have a pocket in back.

It measures about 9 inches tall, 10 inches across and 3 1/2 inches from front to back.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks! It was called a Classic Shoulder Bag and before that, a Classic Pouch, the second is probably correct for the time period yours was made, mid to later 1970s. The style number was 9170.

I wish I would have seen this forum before I placed my order for a Beekman Coach briefcase... Here is the link to the listing on eBay. Please let me know if the bag is authentic!

I think it's ok but we'd really need a closer clear photo of the creed stamp to be completely sure. Maybe if Noshoepolish stops by, she can take a look.

It appears to be authentic. I don't like the fact that someone coated it with icky polish.

These bags cannot be given a bath because the flap will wrinkle. You can see wrinkles in some Beekmans that went through heavy rainstorms.

Some of the gals here have had luck with Leather CPR. I don't know whether it will remove the polish from the bag or how it will clean up. I normally use Coach Cleaner and Coach Conditioner.

I'm hoping that I can clean it up with use of the cleaner and moisturizer. The seller claims that he was able to remove some of the color, if not, I'll take it to a professional leather shop and hopefully they can do something for me!

Thank you so much! My main concern was the authenticity. I think it was a good price for $75!

A little off topic, maybe...can you answer a question for the Rehab Club?

Do any of our wonderful authenticators know if the early Coach hangtags were single sided, meaning smooth on one side and suede on the other?

7 out of 7 of my Coach Leatherware tags are like this, but the thickness of the more modern Coach hangtags.

Any information is much appreciated...thanks in advance!

Yes, some were. And don't forget, hangtags may have been changed several times over the life of the bag.

Hi everyone! I was hoping that someone could authenticate this for me:

Item: Coach Colette Leather Tote
Comments: I asked the seller for a clear, close up photo of the creed but she replied "This is all I can do". And I've asked her twice for a close up photo of the hangtags but she's never responded to that request (she responded to everything else in those 2 e-mails, but left out any mention of the hangtags).
