Can someone please authenticate this? I notice the C aren't perfect as you can see in the picture.

Plaid Tartan

The C patterns on almost all the Tartan plaids, bags and accessories alike, aren't perfect, they're ALWAYS off-center. That's another so-called "rule" that has a ton of exceptions, especially in bags made for the Factory outlet stores like this one. It's genuine.

Almost every single "rule" you've ever read about Coach is either completely wrong or has a lot of exceptions.

Can you please authenticate this one? I couldn't find any threads for this seller to see if they are reputable although they are a power seller with good feedback... plus it says 3 available and 10 sold... suspicious?

Authentic. This pattern is one of the (many) Coach "rules" exceptions.

Comments: I bought this group of Coach accessories some time ago. Never got around to using them, and now want to sell. Would like to make sure that they're real first!
Note: the bracelet in the group shots isn't Coach.

Thanks so much in Advance!
I'd like to see the inside and back of the patchwork wristlet but so far, it looks good as do the other items.

Item No. 0587-210
Found this bag, not sure if I will keep it or sell it or for how much.
The number above is on the authentication pocket inside. It's brown leather with a detachable strap, 2 pockets on one side, no pockets on the other. 10.5 inches wide.
It's not letting me post the picture...

You can upload photos to Photobucket and then copy & paste the code. You can also attach photos to a post, using the paperclip icon, if the photos are small enough.

Sounds right, although DemRam is the real expert on this style and on the seriously vintage bags. It's in amazing condition though! Just as a wild guess I'd say early 1970s.

Thanks...for the second time today!
She's relaxing after a bath and reshape...think I'll be using her a bit more often.
...and I hope DemRam will chime in on the timeline.

Please authenticate this Coach Leatherware bag?
Paid $24.99 at Goodwill in 2007...remarkable condition!
Approx. 13"w x9"h x 3"d Handle drop 4"
Is it a Slim Satchel Standard #9430?
Can you give me an approximate age?
Thanks in advance!

I wish I had some factual information about the exact age of your bag, but I agree with Hyacinth that it's definitely 1970's. - probably mid to later 1970's. I only base my opinion on the very limited information I've been able to glean over the years about when Coach used each particular early creed.

I think (my opinion only) that Coach went through rapid changes after Bonnie Cashin left in 1974 as they scrambled to market their products. They went from the Cashin era "marks" - to a creed - then to a creed with glued on serial number- then to a creed with the serial number stamped as part of the creed.

The Coach employee who dreamed up the "serial number" concept had to be a marketing genius. How impressed women were to have the "ONLY" bag with that number.

Very nice bag! Beautiful condition.
