Whether Bonnie Cashin had anything to do with the original design of the bag makes no difference...because Coach chose to call it the"Bonnie's Legacy Satchel". Made in 2000.

Thank you very much! Much relief felt - I walked around the thrift shop for an hour carrying this, trying to get the pics up, but after failing so many times, I just went ahead. My first red bag to rehab :D Thrilled! You ladies are just awesome :smile1:

That Mercer bag looks genuine.

But if that seller mrsozzman lists a black "Geometric Bag" again please check back with us, that's the fake with the bogus serial number.

I posted her other Coach bag as being fake. It was a wanna-be vintage bag with an invalid serial number, IIRC.

Thanks Hyacinth! Glad to hear it! Sorry I posted incorrectly. Not sure what I left out. Description and name of bag? Anyway, I thank you again, and beg your forgiveness. Would it help if I tell you that I LOVE the Hyacinth flower?? No kidding!!
