Hello! This bag was already authenticated here, ty again! I was curious as to whether the description was correct. Also, I was wondering if that handle type is indeed called “paddle handles”. Also, is this bag type considered a briefcase or tote? The seller may be a tPF member too, judging from the description. :J
TIA for any help! So much to learn…
COACH VINTAGE EARLY 1970s BAG BONNIE CASHIN DESIGN
This authentic, early 1970s, Bonnie Cashin designed bag for Coach is a classic shape. It’s a desirable tobacco tan leather and in excellent, almost mint condition. Coach creed, made in New York City, and, just in case you question its authenticity, I lifted the following information from the Purse Forum website: “There are some early to mid 70’s bags that have the Coach Creed and an obviously glued-on serial mark that was added to the bag after it was manufactured. You can see that the serial number was applied to a leather strip and then placed under the Coach Creed in these early purses. Sometimes the strip with the number would come loose or fall off leaving just a strip of bare leather where the number should be.” The bag measures 13” across, 7 ¼” high and 2 ½” wide. The padded handles measure approximately 12” long.
It won't let me upload the photos...my laptop is dying...I will ask again later... :btdh:

I recall your original question and I would call the "style" of the bag what Coach called it - which is a "Satchel".

The handles are padded (not paddle) and the padding makes the bag much more comfortable to carry by hand.

I don't buy purses, but this bag was in a lot of things I bought at a auction and everything points to me like it's real. Can anyone help me authenticate it Please? :D
If it is real can some tell me where to get it restored?
Is it worth anything?

Welcome to the Purse Forum. I'm not sure that bag is "fixable".

It appears to be an authentic "Soho Fletcher" bag, but it's definitely NOT vintage since that one was made in 2001.

Searching "completed" listings on ebay I see that the Fletcher bags that did sell only sold for an average of about $35.

You may want to ask the ladies on the Rehab and Rescue Club to see if they have some ideas.

Your pictures are fine and the bag looks good. It is a "Janice's Legacy" from 1997, made in Hungary.

Nice find!
