I don't know why but I messaged again & was too polite - I called it a possible "misunderstanding" which I know is actually them lying and said I don't feel comfortable & said we should cancel the transaction. Fair right? This person is mad now and determined to report me so I get an unpaid item strike, he thanked me for wasting his time, and then said he'll just wait the 4 days. If he cancels, isn't his time less wasted? I'm getting mad now, there must be some way I can report this, what happens when you don't pay - I get to explain at that point why I am not going to pay this liar right?
Even if you get a strike and ebay won't remove it, one strike won't hurt you. Ebay doesn't NARU buyers who get a single non-payment strike.
Need help to authenticate this item. It was given to me by a friend several years ago. It would be nice to know if it is an authentic coach handbag; the lining in the bag looks like polyester not silk ,so not sure of it's authentication. Your help is appreciated!:smile1:

I don't know the name for this bag.
style # on creed is : G06X-10398 (black)
Coach bags don't use silk linings. Wherever you heard that, it's incorrect. Please DON'T believe those "authenticity guides" you find on the internet, they're loaded with mistakes and just plain nonsense.

I don't have a record of the style name but the bag looks genuine.

Authentic. I believe it's some type of leather duffle.

Comments: Authentic? Is the name Lulu's Legacy? Is it from 1994? THANK YOU!!

Please check the seller's Feedback. She has several very firm Negatives and Neutrals for strong smells especially cigarette smoke. If smoke bothers you, you may want to keep looking.

Sellers should disclose any problems or any strong smells or problems that some buyers may find offensive or be allergic to. For that reason alone I personally would avoid a seller who doesn't disclose such things. Smokers probably won't mind getting a bag that smells like smoke but I prefer my sellers to be honest.

The bag looks genuine, from 1994.

I'm doing this without even looking at the photos, since that serial number is a known fake. I'll take a look in a moment but it's almost an absolute certainty that it's counterfeit. Check the Fakes List here:

Edited to add:
Fake turnlock, incorrect creed formatting and as I said, known fake serial number. A pretty accurate fake but still a fake. Where and when did you get it, and can you get your money back?

Thank you Hyacinth! I saw that feedback, and yes, smells do bother me. I asked the seller about this bag having any odors and if it comes from a smoking home, still waiting on the answer. I agree that they should be honest and put that part in their listing. I will see what (and how) they answer and go from there. Again, I very much appreciate you taking a look for me!:smile1:

ETA: I think it's nuts that this seller continues to deny the smell after so many buyers complained about it! They should just come clean and admit it already! The more I think about it, I think I'll pass. I have been wanting this bag badly, but I don't need another headache on my hands!

LOL! The response should be interesting but I am not sure she's going to be honest.

Although her response to the most recent neg states that the shipping bags she bought on ebay are where the smoke stink is coming from, her feedback dating back to January, 2006 mentions smoke odor.

Figures.:wondering I'm always looking for this style of Coach bag in this color. But I cannot stand getting a stinky bag! I get enough migraines without my handbag causing more! I will pass on this one. Thank you BB!

I purchased at the SALV ARMY during their .69 cents "blue" tag sale. Thank you very much for authenticating. I'm going to immerse myself in reading the guides so I can be an informed consumer.

Item: Authentic Coach Swingpack purse bag REDUCED
Listing number: 352016713
Seller: [email protected]
Link: http://kingston.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and...wingpack-purse-bag-REDUCED-W0QQAdIdZ352016713
Comments: I requested the registration number from the seller; she replied that it is K0871-F41215.
Thanks to this site and others, I was able to determine that another bag from a different seller is a replica. My feeling is that this one is genuine, but I would greatly appreciate an experienced opinion.
