Absolutely the same picture. She stole the picture from another seller and even when given the opportunity to come clean, she lied about it.
Just a comment regarding the first seller, handbag_babe. That seller has multiple selling IDs, including pianomusikmom and pursenalitygirl. Both handbag_babe and pianomusikmom have been discussed here as mixing authentic and fakes.
In fact, handbag_babe has this fake currently listed:

I'm not sure handbag_babe is searchable on the forum because of the underscore but if you search tpf for posts on pianomusikmom, you'll find many mentions.

I couldn't resist but respond to the seller - I was just so floored that they would claim the photo was different when I pointed it right out to them! I was very polite (yet again, I am too nice for my own good)
I said:I do understand that the same bag will look similar in photos, but I have studied the 2 photos, and they are exactly the same - from the way it's cropped, to the black leather something in the upper left corner, to the lighting/shadows and the folds, the position of the 2 visible zippers - everything but a small black dot in the other photo that looks like it was photoshopped out
I received a very rude response - boy am I glad I didn't pay!
Seller responded: you must have a lot of time on your hands. If you don't want something anymore don't try to make the seller look like they are lying. you could have asked all questions before commiting to buy this nobody forced you. If payment is not received by fourth day I will open a case. I don't even know how to edit pictures. I'm suprised you have good feedback. Do you do this to everybody? ebay should ban people like you.
First off, I did want it and wasn't trying to get out of it. And I didn't make them look like they were lying - I simply pointed out a photo was the same as in another auction, what did I do wrong? I feel like they are lashing out at me because they got caught.
I can't really report them since that photo they sent me in the message wasn't part of the auction. It was smart to ask them if it was their photo without first saying I had seen it in a different auction. I guess they didn't expect that.
Lesson learned, I was really tired when I made the poor choice to bid on this without seeing more photos.

Can you approximate its age and is bone an appropriate color guess (it's not white)?

It's been in my closet a long, long time...don't remember where I even bought it!
On the creed under COACH, I believe it once said LEATHERWARE, but it's sooo faint it doesn't show in photo. Real hard to see.
Odd registration number too...I'm guessing the 0 should be a dash, but the numbers didn't get advanced. (At least I hope so.)
Approx. 11"w x 7"h x 2"d Strap drop 22"
Is it a Basic Bag #9455? Can you approximate age?

Unfortunately, this is a common response from sellers who are less-than forthright. Many of them even respond that the other listing stole their pictures.
You did absolutely nothing wrong and in questioning the bag, you did the smart thing. When pictures shown aren't the actual item, you have no way of knowing what to expect when you receive the item.

As far as the listing from handbag_babe (handbag babe) that you asked about, as Hyacinth pointed out, the bag is authentic. I just wanted to comment on the seller's long history (on more than one ID) of listing fakes.
Obviously, handbag_babe and pianomusikmom don't authenticate their items before listing them. IMO, it's especially misleading to see a "top-rated seller" with fakes because often, many buyers assume that TRS = honest and dependable. This isn't necessarily the case.

Both seem ok, but we'd really need a clear picture of the creed patch of the second one to be absolutely sure. Both are from 2008.
It looks ok. Most of the time it's the "8" that didn't advance correctly but sometimes other numbers would have problems too. This one is probably from around 1988-89.
