Sorry, it's fake. If you're the high bidder, DON'T pay if you haven't already. That shiny black mini-C lining inside a C-pattern bag is a dead giveaway, as is " a snap that keeps popping open". The C pattern on the front and back isn't correctly centered either.
Please let us know if you've paid for it so we can report the fake and the seller to Ebay.

Remember, when something is out of production, or hard to find, the prices will go up accordingly. It's completely up to the buyer if the item is worth the asking price to them. And don't forget, between 10 and 15 percent of the selling price, right off the top, goes to Ebay and Paypal.
It's more like 15 to 20% for ebay and paypal, and that doesn't include ebay listing fees.
