It looks fine to me. :smile1:

Thank you very much! I have never seen a Patricia's Legacy Bag IRL, can you tell me how it compares to the Rambler?

BTW, this is the second bag that I've recently found that appeared to be missing the hangtag and ball chain - but later I found them in the pockets! So that was lucky, too!

Since the Madison Abigail is nowhere in my state to be found, I'm turning to Ebay. After studying up on the authenticity questions thread, I feel fairly confident this one passes the test ... what do you guys think?

Looks good.
I've never seen that style before but there are just too many red flags:

Two colors of leather PLUS a third color as a lining - Coach usually doesn't - or didn't - throw so many colors together on one wallet. And there's no C's or logos of any kind woven into the lining which is a little unusual although a few other wallets don't either

I've NEVER seen a plain round buckle on the front of any Coach wallet OR bag.. It doesn't even look like it belongs there, and Coach wallets will always have hardware that matches the line or family they belong to. The stitching on the front just doesn't "feel" right and in the first photo it looks like the leather edging on the left side of the front flap is narrower than on the right side.

I've never seen any Coach with so many credit card slots. It looks like there are slots for 18 at least, and who carries so many cards, or ANY kind? You'd never be able to snap the wallet shut if all the slots were full.

The ONLY thing that says Coach anywhere is the stamp on the inside, and that's very easy to fake. The stamp also doesn't look like it's at the exact center of the wallet. I'd also like to see a better photo of the zipper pull and of both halves of the front snap

I'd have to say Fake.

Thanks, Hyacinth. I thought there were many problems but because I haven't seen everything, I needed confirmation.

You could report him to the other seller if they were concerned about photo copyright infringement, which in this case they probably are not unless they have stolen the photos from a commercial website. Instead you could report him to eBay support if his activity is 'shady'. If he has any pastor ongoing suspicious activity they can easily spot it and track, watch, warn or ban him as needed.

I completely disagree.

Most sellers hate that others steal their work because it takes a lot of time and effort to prepare a listing. For someone else to come along and take the easy "copy and paste" route is not only cheating buyers but it's illegal. It's copyright/intellectual property infringement and is against the law.

In the case of stolen pictures and plagiarized descriptions, ebay won't do diddly unless it's reported by the rights owner and that is the person whose work was used.

So, yes, I would let the rightful owner of the pictures know that another seller has used their work and when questioned has claimed it as their own.

Again, I do not recommend goodguy2012us.

The first and last pictures are Coach's stock photos so they aren't much help in determining whether the bag is authentic. The other pictures appear to be okay but I don't know whether they are even the seller's own pictures.

The seller has another current listing in which she uses several pictures, some stolen stock pics and others with different backgrounds than the listing you are looking at. And in many completed listings, there are stock photos mixed in with other pictures.

I'd tread carefully with a seller who has so many different bags and not all her own pictures.

JMHO.

Hi, I'm not sure that i'm posting in the right place...please redirect me if I'm not. I was wondering if the Gigi and the Lily are often faked? In the Legacy line, I have only seen the Leigh faked, but I just probably couldn't see it on others. Thanks for any tips.

Requesting authentication please! I have no idea what they are, yet again. No results are coming up for the black, and I've never seen the camel one. I'm hopeful, and will be heartbroken if either or both are fake, but I took the risk, and here I am! Both were 16 each.

Black stinks of cigarette smoke, but I couldn't tell when I got it because the entire store stank of cigarette smoke.. It shows wear, but the leather was in pretty good condition compared to some of the stuff I've gotten. The structure intrigued me.
Also, is that coach fob a separate keychain? Or would it have come with the bag new?

Camel in next post..

Black was approx 11" x 7" x 3"? The depth was difficult because of the curving edge of the back, and I wasn't sure how to measure...

Also intrigued by the structure of this bag... the V at the sides. Was a little worried because the flap felt flimsier than the usual leather flaps inside, but it wasn't bad, I thought.

Approx 12" x 7.5" x 3"

Completely genuine, it's called an Oliver Bag, style number 9902 from around 1992.

Camel in next post..

It's a Curtis Bag from 1995, style number 9975. The keychain was added by one of the owners.

I've posted two of Coach's Patricia's Legacy pages below. You can probably find more photos by doing a Title and Descriptions search at Ebay for " Coach (patricia's,9951) ".

The most obvious differences is that the P'sL is wider and higher and has a much longer strap than the Rambler's Legacy, it's one of the longest straps available on a Coach bag past or present. The Pat's also has a hidden pocket at the back of the bag formed by the flap material and the back piece of the bag, it's accessible only when the flap is open.
