It's a Mercer Bag, style 4131 from the 1993 Lightweights line.

First of all, NOTHING can be authenticated over the phone, or just from the serial or style number. The item has to actually be SEEN. YOU CAN'T TELL IF ANYTHING IS GENUINE JUST FROM THE NUMBERS.

Yours is a bad fake. Nothing is what it's trying to be. The year code doesn't match the style number format - since when were Leighs made in 2002? - the stitching on the bag and especially around the creed patch is a mess, the hardware should NOT have the name Coach stamped all over it, the creed statement is so badly stamped it's barely readable, and one of the lines in the creed has run-together words.

Contact the seller immediately and insist on a FULL refund including what you paid for shipping. If the seller refuses or hesitates, file a SNAD claim with Ebay right away.

Don't ever ever EVER depend on anyone at Coach to authenticate ANYTHING.

What I can see looks genuine, although I doubt if any of them are "Cashin-era".
