The seller of this bag has requested I post it here for authentication. I have my thoughts but I am not 100% familiar with the bag as I have not seen it in person:

Seller: ingeniouskha

I will let her know I posted here.

My initial concerns are the top-stitching and the location of the studs on the flap. Shopdot's has an authentic one listed.
I've been watching that style for several years and there are some SCARY "good" fakes in that style.

(I will post some side-by-side comps of authentic vs fake on the answers thread, but in the meantime, I'll post them here too.)

Unfortunately, that listing and another of the same style are fake.

Here are some comps of the bag in question vs. an authentic one. (There are other problems but these are pretty obvious.)

Right off the bat I can tell you that the front dog-leash clip is fake.

The seller really needs to show creed photos but I'm sure those will add more proof that the bag is fake. I'll check and see if I have any saved photos of a genuine example of that style.

ETA - Here's Coach's photo of 10341 - the top of the bag is wrong, the clip is wrong, the rivets are too small, the stitching on the leather trim in front is wrong - those are just the most obvious problems:

I see two problems - at the time this bag was supposedly made, the "M" code indicated the Costa Rica plant. As proof, I have 2 Sonoma Flap Bags that "bracket" this one, G6M- and K6M-, and they're both made and stamped in Costa Rica.

The second problem is that Coach would no longer have been stamping the country of manufacture at the bottom of the creed by late 1996.

Sorry.

Ah, thank you so much. I would never have guessed this one was not authentic.

The 7466 (Brooklyn) was made for the boutique. The ones that did not sell were later transferred to the outlets.

The white is well known for yellowing so check it over well when you get it.

About 2 years ago, Coach released a made for factory store version of the 7466.
Is there a way to prevent the "yellowing" you mentioned? It is definitely a different color under the flaps where it hasnt seen light, I'm assuming....how do you clean the white/ivory leather bags? Thanks for all the information!
