Comments: The bag says made in Korea and neither I nor the seller know if Coach bags are ever made in Korea so I was hoping for some help from you guys! Also, if it's NOT real, if anyone can tell if the leather is real leather please let me know. I can't tell from a photo myself but I know y'all have more experience at this sort of thing! Just by reading your description it is FAKE coach NEVER EVER made their bags in Korea. Also more then likely it's real leather but NOT real coach leather. There is a difference

Tell the seller that the bag is fake, illegal to list or sell anywhere and to end the listing. She needs to authenticate her items before listing them in the future.

Wow that was fast! I suspected that it wasn't real, but I was hoping there was a chance. Oh well! Do you know if there's a way to tell from a photo if the leather is real or not at least? It's a cute bag and I wouldn't mind it being a fake if it wasn't plastic... :blushing::blushing:

It does say in the listing that the bag may not be authentic, but I wanted to check with you guys to see if it definitely wasn't. I'm glad I looked into it first.

Also, I asked the person who responded first already, but do you know if there's a way to tell if the bag is leather or not from the photos? I know y'all are more for authenticating and I definitely appreciate it! But I'm horrible at telling real leather from plastic from just a picture and I love hunting for vintage bags online but it's so hard to tell! If you have any tips I'd appreciate it!

There are tons of authentic Willis bags listed on ebay, Bonanza and maybe even on Etsy.

I wouldn't recommend buying a counterfeit Coach no matter what the leather was like. A fake is a fake is a fake! This forum is anti-FAKES.

The style number of the Willis is 9927. Once you find a bag you're interested in, post a link and someone can tell you if it's authentic or not.

It's genuine - called a Legacy Leather Saddle Demi Flap and was made in 2002.

The first three are genuine Willis Bags.

The fourth, fifth and sixth are Station Bags, not Willis Bags. Station Bags are smaller than Willis Bags. The fourth is in pretty bad shape and has a badly-repaired strap. The leather on the sixth looks like it's never been conditioned.
