This (bolded text below) is incorrect.

Sorry I did not get back to you earlier but I work second shift. The Hampton bags have been released year after year, in various forms and sizes, sometimes with just slight changes.

Thanks BeenBurned, the pink one arrived not 10 minutes after my posting... it's the most gorgeous thing I own. Talk about craftsmanship, the details are perfect. I hope the Signature is as good!

I guess my confusion about the Hamptons bag I bought really comes down to the lining. I thought/read somewhere that in general if the exterior is plain then the lining is patterned and vice versa. Obviously there are exceptions to every rule (my pink bag being one). My authentic Hampton bag has a patterned lining therefor I assumed almost identical ones would also. I'm trying as hard as I can to understand authenticity, I'm just facinated by all this!

I hope I did the quotes thing right :smile1:

Have a great night everyone!

I'm just curious.....would a 2001 copyright booklet have come in a bag made in 1998?

Oooooooh brother - only on those days when Time is running backwards - sorry!

Looks good.

BTW, that's a super price!! Check out this one that sold the other day:

Just an update.

Received wallet yesterday. It was quite dirty. You could really see a difference in the outside slip pocket. Two very different colors.

Gave her a quick dunk in Woolite and she looks amazing. What a difference. She is drying now.

Thanks again BeenBurned.

They made several. The one like in the listing you pointed to has been extremely highly faked and sometimes the fakes are pretty goo.

Hyacinth & BB can tell you all the nuances with them but the main issue besides the crappy fonts & cheap metals, is the colors of the charms.

The style number is 92114.

Thanks noshoepolish. Did Coach do a doggie one at all.

Here's one example of a side-by-side comparison.

If you PM me, I'll send you some side by side differences between authentic and fakes. Some of the fakes are really close and unless you're very familiar with what to look for, you can be easily fooled.

Note that any pet multi mix fob with any colors other than red, black and white will always be fake, though.

There is just one current authentic lisitng, but it's missing the hydrant.

Hi,

A friend gave me a small hand bag. She did not tell me how she came across it. I would like to verify if it authentic. If it is, I would like to find out the name and year it was made.
