but, now I wonder now why some photos have packing... others do not and why there would be packing on a purse purchased from Dillard's.

Has the Coach Goovy bag been faked/duplicated? I have searched all over the net to find a fake one and cannot seem to find one on a shady site.

Packing does come on bags purchased from Dillard's. They call it in "paper" here. They come with packing and in a Coach plastic bag.

The bag looks fine.

Keep in mind that anything can be copied; bags, hardware, tags, paperwork, etc. I don't think that's the case with your purchase, though.
