Comments: Man, I LOVE this bag. It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Instead of shelling out big bucks for one made in China...having one made in the USA would be a dream (I actually prefer my LV's to be made in USA). Can anyone give me advice on keywords to search for on auction sites to see more of these?

The bag in the auction is the "Beaumont Satchel" which is style 9871. That one appears to be from 1999. Two very similar style bags I can think of are 9725 (Madison Satchel)) and 9891 (Broadway Satchel).

If you do an advanced ebay Search and include "Title and Description", there are 6 style 9871 listed now, though only one in a light color.

If you use words like "Coach vintage doctor's satchel" or "Coach Vintage Speedy Satchel" you might find others listed. Those Coach satchels are listed incorrectly all the time and there were many similar satchels made over the years.

DemRam already commented on the bag and it's not my area of expertise but I just wanted to comment on the seller.

If you search the seller ID, energyambit, you'll find several posts where the seller was found to mix authentic and fake Coach items.

I just bought this bag today at a vintage store but I'm kind of scared it might be fake...what are you able to tell me?

Patch says "Made in New York City" No 703-6366

What worries me is the thin like hardware and the zipper does not have YKK on it. PLEASE HELP!!

Thank you, and to DemRam and Hyacinth for all of your help! I think I will stay away from this seller. I have my eye on one bag, and I plan on hitting up some antique/thrift stores tomorrow...

I do not know if any of you all remember, but I got a bag from GW for $6 and posted it here for authentication many moons ago...I have rehabbed it (as much as a novice such as me can) and posted pics in Bunnys rehab thread. I am in love and definitely wanting to give more bags a good massage and home, LOL!

Anything I find, I will bring to you all, as I know nothing much about these beauties. Thank you all again so much!
