Comments: The photo of the creed wasn't fully readable, but things go so fast on that site, I gave in and bought it so I wouldn't miss out. Do you think its authentic?

The bag in the pictures is authentic although the full creed should be shown. Also, the seller copied the style number incorrectly. It's supposed to be 10701.

ETA: The seller doesn't do a good job authenticating before listing. This Dooney is fake:

Personally, I recommend extreme caution with sellers who don't do their due diligence.

I know its hard without more close up pictures and I can post some once I am home next week however for the moment im so upset at the thought of it being a fake so if anyone couldn please help me with anything else I can look for on bag to tell if authentic or not I'd appreciate it

I don't see where she said she paid $298 for it. That's probably the list price that was marked on the tag.

The bag in the listing sold for GBP 56.00 which converts to $89.93 in USD.

And the creed stamps indicate the same plant and year of manufacture, there shouldn't be so many differences.

Another huge red flag is the lining color. All bags of a particular style and color will have the same color lining.



Ignore the lining colors, Chezmia's bag is dark blue. The other black ones for sale have the purple lining, although one or two others look a bit wonky too. Chezmia is the only seller whose name I recognise. ETA - Oh, and Ringo too.

Thank you so much. Now I know I'm not wrong. When I received this bag my mind was telling me that something is off. I had inspected all angles of the bag, the buckles everything! I also compared it to my other gathered sophia (in grey color) which is soft and the gathers don't stick together. The leather (on the black colored one) was hard and stiff and the workmanship is just awful.

A question on the creed-it says K1182-15942. I read that the first alphabet indicates the month when the bag was made? Does K mean October month?
