Comparing yours to one by a known and totally trusted seller, the position of not just the Carriage emblem but the pleats themselves are wrong on your bag. Compare the position of the emblem to this one - on the genuine bag the Carriage emblem is placed within the first set of pleats, the very top row. The creed stamp is also much less sharp on yours:

And the creed stamps indicate the same plant and year of manufacture, there shouldn't be so many differences.

I was actually wrong about the fabric, it is not neoprene, it is twill with leather accents.


And there's also a comment deeming the bag authentic from their "authenticating moderator."

Another huge red flag is the lining color. All bags of a particular style and color will have the same color lining. And the black bag shouldn't have purple lining.

Ignore the lining colors, Chezmia's bag is dark blue. The other black ones for sale have the purple lining, although one or two others look a bit wonky too. Chezmia is the only seller whose name I recognise. ETA - Oh, and Ringo too.

Thank you! that clears up the problem although I'm not sure why the seller is saying it's Neoprene. If it's a Mercer, then it's genuine, and the serial number also checks out ok.

Actually, the seller has posted an update saying:
"I was actually wrong about the fabric, it is not neoprene, it is twill with leather accents."

I've asked for a clearer photo of the creed patch, so hopefully she will provide it.

From the photos that is provided in the listing it looks authentic to me, But If you paid $298 for an outlet bag...thats too much =( you might as well spend $298 and went to the coach.com
