thanks soo much! :yahoo:
If you buy it, make sure the one you receive is the same as the one in the pictures. The seller doesn't have a history to compare pictures so I can't be sure the pictures are her own. (Another seller used the same hosting album.)

I'd recommend that when you receive it, you post pics to verify that you got the real deal.

I need help ladies :) Love this bag. It doesn't have a number on the creed though so I need to check it before I can feel confident bidding on it.

Genuine. It's a Cassidy Mini Bag from the 1992 Dakota Collection. None of the Dakotas had serial numbers and they were all made in Italy. There's more information in the Salearea Buying Guide on Coach's Italian-made bags:

Thank you :) This bag is perfect in so many ways. It must be mine LOL
I has thought maybe it was too small for the creed numbers but couldn't be sure as I have never seen this one before.

The Dakotas are pretty rare and they were only in production for a year as far as I can tell. They're interesting bags though, and really durable.

I just noticed that that bag doesn't appear to have a hang tag. Did they originally have one? If they did how hard would it be to get one from coach without a serial number? I figure it will be brass cause I don't think they could match it but I'm sort of anal about having a "complete" bag and to me hang tags just make the bag whole. That probably sounds weird to everyone though LOL

They had the same kind of hangtag as the Sheridans. A brass one might be ok but it might look too big for the bag especially since the Dakota brasses were a little more antique-looking. The original ones are stiff leather and have kind of a woodburned look like the one in this listing:

I just checked the hangtag listings on Ebay and didn't see anything that looked like one of the original ones but you may want to check again in a week or two.
