I would call and go into the store and just give the manager a hard time. Chances are they will refund your money and just put it back on the shelf and sell it to someone else.
I'm surprised when i see people say they get bags from goodwill. The goodwill here doesn't have anything name brand or even nice because the employees get to it first.

I won a bag from the local Goodwill Auction case last year and they would not let me examine the bag until the auction had ended and I was the winner. They assured me that if I won and looked at the bag I can option to buy it or not. When I looked at the creed patch it had the actual month abbreviation (DEC) then 2 numbers and the patch was sewn on crooked with a "whip" stitch. I informed the employee that the bag was fake and not a real Coach because of the above reasons. I said that I did not want to buy it and she took it and put it back in the case. I told her that the bag could not be sold as a Coach and they could take out the patch and sell it as a regular bag (since it did not say Coach anywhere else on it). She told me "That is not my decision, how do I know you are not wrong and this is not a real Coach?"

Duh! Of course you're right. Sorry. :shame:

You might be able to get a dustbag from Coach if you call them.

You scared me for a minute...LOL...I didn't doubt you but I thought I had seen the bag on Coach's full price website...:roflmfao:

We don't have any boutiques here just outlet stores and I'm sure they don't have extra dust bags. I have an aunt who lives in Baltimore and I'm going down there for a wedding in a few months so maybe I can swing by one and pick one up then. I just have to hope I go in with no money or I might be forfeiting my rent for a month :D

She does have a point but I'm sure you would have bought the bag if it was real. It's unfortunate that they aren't a bit more trained to notice reals from fakes. I know there are a wide array of knocked off bags, but you would think someone could give them tips of what to look out for, something as simple as straight stitching. Especially if it's coming from a Goodwill that auctions off high priced stuff. The consignment shop here ALWAYS has their real stuff behind the counter. From what I can see (I don't look at much because then I end up buying it) they are pretty accurate when it comes from distinguishing fakes from real bags. They always have a lot of fakes out on the floor (which some sell pretty high for fake bags)

This medium signature wallet was purchased for me from a Coach Outlet in FL in 2006 (or 2005). I just realized the line up of the C's seems really strange; they're not aligned well at all (especially the button pocket on the front), and now I'm curious. Any opinions? I really appreciate it.

If you bought it from an outlet you don't have anything to worry about. And PLEASE disregard whatever nonsense you've read that Coach fabrics are always perfectly aligned - they're NOT. If someone expects perfection and the higher costs associated with it, they need to look at brands like LV and Chanel - and be willing to pay the price. Coach is a mid-priced brand and doesn't measure fabric alignment with a micrometer or throw away perfectly good fabric because the C's aren't exactly right.
