Hi everyone. I am new here and would really like it if someone could let me know if this bag is authentic. I purchased it second hand - not a lot of money, but it would be a bummer if it was fake.
I do not know what the name is other then it is a Coach Signature style. It is dirty and bit worn. This is my first Coach, so I am learning.

Pictures are as follows.

The best I can read this as it did not show in any pictures I took, is:

Comments: Please authenticate. This seller has some more Coach in her booth. http://www.ebay.com/sch/ivcsd_mgr/m...&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313
Eww! The two backpacks are awful! There may be some authentic bags mixed in but with such awful pictures and a seller who (at best) mixes fakes, I don't recommend ivcsd_mgr.

Ahh... :( How can you tell?

Just for starters, you should clearly be able to read the entire creed patch including the serial number. And since the serial number is probably A2J-6094 which is one of the most commonly-used fake serial numbers, you should make a copy of the entire Fakes List and keep it in your handbag, that number is on it.

plus scanning all the newer posts after these for additional numbers found after the list was posted.

Also Coach NEVER stamps the ends of the turnlocks, and NO Coach purse that has all Cs or Coach logos as the outside fabric should EVER have Cs or logos on the inside too.

There's an entire thread here that has plenty of advice, the older posts are sometimes already outdated though. Most of the time there's no easy way to tell, you have to invest time and effort in learning what to look for. Better yet, ask here BEFORE you buy. And never buy anything unless you're sure you can get a refund if it's fake.
