That's usually best if you have one nearby although there are some highly-trusted sellers that I would buy a wallet from without any worries. "Highly trusted" doesn't automatically mean anyone with 100 percent Feedback or that any of Ebay's so-called "Top Rated Sellers" are automatically included however. Many sellers especially high-volume wallet sellers have "perfect" Feedback and sell nothing but fakes. And Ebay's "Top Rated Seller" rating is a complete joke - a BIG percentage of those potential scammers are selling fakes.

Just keep asking here, and stay away from any wallet sellers from the Greater LA - Arcadia - Orange County, California area.

That seller was already mentioned yesterday in the Worst Fakes thread and has been mentioned there at least once before, they don't even try to authenticate their items and have sold numerous fakes already. Unfortunately because the forum software removes the underscores in their ID, it doesn't come up in any Searches here. The only place their ID comes up in a search is Google.

Thank you Hyacinth! I just reported it! I checked on a google search and wow, this person's name comes up a ton on TPF. Pathetic that they don't even try to learn about what they are selling and authenticate their items, but its obvious they don't if they keep going forward with listing obvious fakes!

Both are ok. I don't have a name for the red one but the tan one is a Soft Legacy Demi Hobo.

Got it (thanks for all the useful information). I do have an outlet about 45 minutes away, and the wallets are reasonably priced there too.

I don't want to get off topic too much, but I had this Coach Patent Ergo Large Hobo authenticated here
(Item No.230676656069: http://www.ebay.com/itm/230676656069?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649). I won the auction at what I consider a great price, and much lower than my max bid.

I received the bag today, and while it was listed as in gently used / excellent condition, there were a lot of blue pen marks and blue shadows/smudges on the lining of the bag. The outside is in GREAT shape. I was able to get about 90% out so far with Oxi-Clean and Shout Stain Remover, but I wanted opinions on feedback.

I'm still happy with the bag an do want to leave a positive, but, at the same time, I feel the seller should have disclosed it. Any opinions? Thanks!
