Never seen the first one before but it doesn't strike me as right - too much of the wrong hardware for one thing.

Second - you need a lot more photos to authenticate Coach watches including the back of the case and any and all stampings or marks on the back of the band. Fake watches are very common especially on Ebay.

Thanks alot ..I am going to try to request for more pics on the watch

the pave keychain is authentic, they were really popular on here around christmas, a bunch of members got them and they are highly sought after!

Thanks. It does have two rivets on each side. The different color hardware is bothering me. I am attaching more pictures.

Thanks, I see the other one now. The low placement of the creed on the pocket is definitely a problem and is often found in fakes. I'm not 100 percent sure but there are definitely some incorrect details on that bag, the different colored hardware being the big problem but the creed placement to me is the biggest red flag.

I know we've seen that type of discrepancy before especially on duffle and bucket style bags - without knowing if it was a problem on genuine Coaches or not, there's really no advice I can give. I've never owned that style bag or any other with a similar problem, if anyone else has let's hope they can tell us about their experience.

I think the different colored hardware alone is a deal breaker. I have owned similar bags with that wide, detachable strap...the rivets match the rest of the hardware on every one of them. AND unless the strap comes from a bag with nickel hardware, those grommets should match too.

The creed is also a problem..it's crooked, low and just a general mess. The photo below is a creed from the same year and same plant. Note how precise the stamping is. I'd be contacting the seller if I received that bag

Then I stand corrected - do you have a style number?

I've searched the forums here and can't find any mention of it or photos showing a tag and style number. I don't suppose anyone posted photos in the References thread?

Thanks for taking a look Hyacinth! Any idea of age? The creed number seems to pre-date the mid 1990's and I was told it could be anywhere between mid 70's to early 80's but I'd love to figure out a closer guess on age. Thanks.

Genuine. But that one wasn't made while Bonnie Cashin was still working for Coach.

Thank you for the help! This is the first fake that I have bought....my luck was bound to wear off sometime :push:
I will contact the seller. Definitely going to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Sorry, it could be any time from the mid-1970s to about 1987-88.
