I'm glad your mom did the right thing. I hope she can take it back to the shop and get a refund.
A LOT of classic leather fakes are almost impossible to tell from real even for someone familiar with Coach. Usually it's the small details like the hardware or a wrong digit or code in a serial number that's the only clue.
I hope that she can get back a refund too but I doubt it because I think she's had it laying around the house for a while. I just feel bad for her because she is totally embarrassed now :shame:
