By all the markings, I meant based on my experience with selling and authenticating Coach in my area. I had trouble with the Rambler's Legacy because I could not confirm the country of manufacture in this particular instance. And, please, tell me where or how you have chosen to infer that I am attempting to sell anything on this site? I beg your pardon, but that is so not the case.

No one implied you were selling anything on this site and I'm sure no one reading my post inferred that either - read the responses again. I told you that if you wanted your items authenticated (which along with BeenBurned I also strongly suggest you do since "having the correct marks" means absolutely nothing) you could post photos of the bag at Photobucket or another hosting site but that you could not post links in this forum to the auction where it was listed since that was not allowed under forum rules. I never said that you DID post them or were PLANNING on posting them. I just wanted to make sure that if you decided to post them, you were aware that you couldn't post any direct connections to your auction here including direct links or your Ebay ID.

Since we've already had one post removed today by a new user who wasn't familiar with that rule and mistakenly DID post a link to her auction, I wanted to be sure that you, also a new user, wouldn't make the same mistake.

Hi Ladies,

Would you please let me know your thoughts about this Hamptons Pebbled Leather Carryall? Thank you so much!

I didn't say you were selling on this site.

In post #14568, you stated: "I've been looking to authenticate a Coach rambler's Legacy that I have on ebay."

I took that to mean that you already listed it PRIOR to having it authenticated. My response was to tell you that you're supposed to:
1. authenticate before listing (since it's your responsibility to KNOW that you items are authentic or they can't be listed)
and
2. If you wanted it authenticated, it's against tPF policy to post your own listing. (In fact, some of the AT forums won't even look at your pictures if they know you're a seller.) My advice was to tell you that we'd look at the item but you had to post pictures of it without any reference to your ebay ID or the listing.

Item: Authentic Coach Purse with Different Size "C"s
Listing number: 300550677348
Seller: nikiq624
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Authentic-Coach...348?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item45fa376364

Comments: Please authenticate. I bought 2 others from this seller today and now I am getting worried.

There really aren't enough photos of any of those bags to authenticate them. Also I hope you're looking for Pouch-sized bags. The Patchwork Pouch with the various-sized Cs was a legitimate style though.

Even though most of them are Pouches there should be a few that at least have creed patches. The seller should have posted photos of them. There don't seem to be any obvious problems but you took a big chance especially from a new seller - fingers crossed they're all ok.

Please post your own photos when you get the bags.

Thank you Hyacinth! Holding breath for your response. :D

Yes, was looking for small size for 2 granddaughters. Hope they are big enough for them...

Will post pictures when they arrive.

Item: COACH CHELSEA BLUE SIGNATURE UMBRELLA~NWTS!
Listing number: 160578228438
Seller: vickib618
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-CHELSEA-B...438?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25633550d6
Comments: Anyone know retail price?
Although the umbrella looks okay, I'm not sure of the marked price on the ticket nor can I read the price tag.

I do not recommend vickib618.

For some of the jewelry items, the seller appears to buy Coach keychains and disassembles them and uses the charms to make jewelry. She accurately titles the listings as "Coach charm with chain" rather than selling as a "Coach necklace," thereby implying that the item was made by Coach.

My concern is with these listings. They are NOT authentic Coach charms and the seller mixes authentic and fakes:

http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-BLACK-WHI...216?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25630d8090

http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-MULTI-SIG...824?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2562ecef18

http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-MULTI-SIG...139?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2562a81753

Her carefully worded descriptions are such that it's clear that she knows which items are fakes and which are authentic. And although stating "authentic" isn't really necessary (since by law, everything must be authentic), she describes the authentic items as "authentic" and omits the word from the fakes.

Wow, how deceptive this seller is. Will stay away!

Thank you BB for taking so much time on this.

Hi, long-time admirer, first-time poster. This forum helped me choose my Rebecca Minkoff Nikki in gray (can't remember the proper color name) and Linea Pelle Dylan Medium Tote in espresso. I'm looking for a smaller bag, crossbody style and am interested in a vintage Coach Willis bag. Found this on eBay:

Item: VINTAGE COACH WILLIS BAG - BLACK - EXCELLENT CONDITION
Listing number: 220773647173
Seller: jswelbar
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-COACH-W...WH_Handbags&hash=item3367228345#ht_500wt_1102
Comments: I hope for some tips because I'm scouring local vintage shops for Coach bags. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
