The vachetta leather - you can try alcohol free diaper wipes.

The LV forum here might have more ideas.

I stayed away from the Coach Vachetta Leather bags but am dawn to thos denim Gigis and Lilys.

I hope you went into this with the "I've got nothing to lose" mentality. Once you try to clean it the bag is yours.

The last Coach I bought was used and I took it to the Coach store and it cost me about $65 to have it cleaned/conditioned. It came back beautiful! I'm just hoping that they can do the same with this one. If they can, I'll have myself a mega cheap Lily. She also sent me a note via PayPal with payment that guarantees authenticity with a full money back guarantee. So fingers crossed and drooling.....Now I'm looking for an XL black leather Lily........

I'm not sure if Coach still offers a cleaning service. If they do please let us know because I've seen posts about both their cleaning and authentication services being discontinued.

If it has, check at the main Coach forum here, I think there have been other cleaning services that members recommended.

I think this is one of the places I've heard mentioned that does a good job cleaning Coaches but please check the other forums here to be sure:

I think with a bag like the Lily that has so many different kinds of material - fabric, striped Legacy lining and vachetta - I'd definitely let a professional do the job as long as you can find someone others recommend for doing that kind of work.

Yup. I know the cleaning thing....I did go into it with knowing that. Our local Coach store cleaned one for me at xmas time, but I do see that on their website. Will have to find out before I go there.....I'll maybe check into other places if not available....

I just love the bag and got it for a steal, so either way, I'm good. I can't afford the $500 for a nice one. A "fixer-upper" is all I can afford. I don't work outside the house so have to live within my means now....

Thanks for all your awesome advice ladies. And if anyone sees a black leather Lily XL for $400 or close, I'm looking.....Thanks again!

I appreciate your help in authenticating these. Auction on 1st is ending. Thanks!

1. tanyapowell2011 - fake

2. Looks okay but listing needs more pics

3. 714snow2010 - fake. Do not buy from 714snow210. This "TRS" also has another fake to report and appears to mix authentic and fakes.

4. toner2323 - fake

5. cormbread33 - the listing in question might be okay but more pics are necessary to confirm or deny. However the seller has another fake listing:

Thanks BB!

Impossible to say on the first one without more photos including the serial number.

The second one looks genuine but be sure to read the condition description, the leather looks pretty beat up and like it's already started to crack in places.

I should not be posting without tea in me first. I am drawn to those denim gigis and lilys...

If you walk in the boutique they will clean them with Coach Cleaner and Mositurizer but they do not recommend those products on those bags. That's not the same kind of cleaning that bag needs.

I think I will try that cleaning service in OH posted above. $48 isn't too bad if they can do a good job. Anyone used them? Will have to do some research first......

I went ahead and purchased the first one. I'm going to write her now and request pics of the creed, registration no., etc. and ask that she send them before mailing to me. I'll post when I get them.

You're right about the 2nd one and I am passing on it. Thanks for the valuable advice.
