Dear authenticators! Please authenticate for me this bag and wallet.

I buy them from a local store in Vietnam. I only wonder when see that the beside left and right of the handbag is not equally. And I cannot see the tag "made in china" like other one I have. should all handbags go with this small tags. The store show me that they buy them from Macy's. And this is a Coach factory item. Production year is 01/2010.

This is the link for the pictures. Thank so much

I don't see any problems with either the bag or the wallet as far as authenticity is concerned although I'd like to see a clear picture of both tags (inside) as well as the paperwork that came with the wallet.

Please post pictures of the inside of the tags and paperwork.

Regarding the side seams of the bag having a slightly mismatched pattern, that's okay. It's impossible to get patterns to match perfectly everywhere and often, the sides are slightly off.

I'm not sure whether the wallet is a factory or full-priced item but the bag is definitely NOT from Macy's. It's a MFF (made for factory) bag. Based on the serial number, your bag was made in November, 2010. L=11th month.

Please wait for other opinions.

Item Name: Signature Perforated Duffel Serial No. F04M-1424

It won't allow me to upload my photos, says the files are too large and I don't know how to compress, so I am posting the link to my photobucket.

I got this from a family member and we didn't know what kind of COACH bag it was. I went to the ID this Coach thread first and no luck. So I took their advice and called Coach this afternoon and gave the serial number. They told me its a signature perforated duffel. I was unable to find this bag anywhere online to compare it to so I am hoping you gals can help me out. It has all the signs of being real but I just recently started collecting and do not know for sure.
Thanks in advance :)

Authenticate this Lily please. She used to live here in America. It looks good to me, but I'm drooling, so I may not be seeing straight.......Creed is there, and she will guarantee its authenticity or money back. I know that may not actually mean much, but it's a start....

Nothing to worry about, it looks fine. :smile1:

Welcome! May I ask where you're getting your information?

Generally, wallets don't have creeds but some styles do have them. And Coach has different type of creeds on different lines of items. This is the correct creed for this wallet. As for where the wallet was made, on wallets, usually the "made in" label is a cloth label sewn into a side seam (not visible in the listing pics.)

If you're reading some of the "authenticity" guides that are floating around the internet, please erase them from your mind and disregard most of what they say. In fact, 99% of the guides are at best obsolete but many are not just in need of updating but are filled with inaccurate information.

As a result of too many people believing what they read in guides, many buyers are either buying fakes and not recognizing them as such or are getting the real deal and accusing their sellers of selling fakes.

Thanks for your reply!

You're right. I got the info from a well-meaning (but apparently incorrect) website. It said the "creed" (inside label I'm guessing) had to be in all CAPS, "embossed", and not in cursive writing. I also noticed personally that many would say in the text that it was "hand made in the United States" (or China or somewhere). I guess that's not necessary either.

Thanks for clarifying that for me!

The bag is fine but it has alot of sealant issues on the strap.

It's fine.

Just be careful of putting complete trust in Coach's ability to give style names. In this case, the serial number you gave them is on an authentic bag so the style name they gave is correct.

Problems can arise when a fake has a legitimate serial number and Coach gives you a style name that may or may not match the bag it's on but if the bag is fake, the style name is not helpful in authenticating. (I hope this makes sense.)

When you aren't sure of authenticity, it's better to confirm authenticity first, then call Coach for the style name.

You're welcome.

Looks good.

Thank you all SO MUCH. It's now on its way to me. Hopefully what is pictured gets shipped....I have spoken to her though and she seems good. I see the sealant issues on the straps, but I can't afford a new one, so a little imperfection will just have to do. I won't tell you what I paid for this one, but if I have to live with a few little things wrong, I still got a GREAT deal! I'll probably post a pic when I get it, bragging rights! Thanks again, have a great Sunday. It's snowing here in Buffalo.....
