Per Ebay rules, you have to pay for this item now that you have won it unless the seller will agree to cancel the sale. It is considered a legal binding contract. However, if you decide not to pay the only thing they can do to you is give your account a violation, so you may not be able to purchase items in the future. You should pay and when you receive the item take a bunch of pictures and submit them here for authentication. If it is not authentic, the seller has to accept a return and ebay will refund your money except the shipping charge.
Addition: I believe I just found the item you won: ebay item # 270729837919
I have seen this bag at the Coach factory store. Since I am not an expert I can't authenticate it, but I wouldn't worry.
The bidder/buyer was already told the item looks fine.

But to respond to your comment, although a buyer should authenticate items prior to bidding, she certainly isn't obligated (contract or not) to pay for a fake.

It's a PITA to fight with a seller about SNAD after having paid for the item plus shipping. If and when a buyer learns BEFORE paying that she bought a fake, she shouldn't go through with the purchase. "per ebay rules," the seller shouldn't have listed a fake and "per ebay rules," the buyer isn't required to pay for a counterfeit item.

*sigh*

Yes, the cosmetic/overnight bag is authentic.

I thought the wording on tag sounded fake. What makes you know it's the real deal?
Are you talking about the wording on the creed in this picture?

There's nothing wrong with the creed, the wording, the stitching, the font or anything else.

What makes you think the wording's fake? Solid examples please, not just "it doesn't look or sound right". And how many Coaches made in 2006 have you bought?

What makes us think it's the real deal? EXPERIENCE. What makes you think it isn't?

When I had a similar issue, I asked on the ebay answer center if I had to pay for the item if I was concerned about authenticity. 100% of the response was that I had to pay for the item. If I had issues, I should have resolved them before bidding. In a similar situation, the answer center also answered 100% that you had to pay for the item even when the seller violated ebay policies by charging excessive shipping. So I was just passing along information I learned from the ebay answer center.

Comments: I found this one while browsing the internet. I think the double flap in interesting. Would like to know your opinions regarding authenticity. Also wondering if it is genuine...would it be an early 1970?

The serial number is from some time between the mid to late 1970s and 1989, but I can only find the bag in a 1985 catalog so that's probably right about when it was made. Coach called it a Twin Clutch, style 9380.
