So, I want to purchase an ebay coach bag. I won the auction... It is $135.99 and is part of the soho collection. However, I am not sure if it is real and do not want to purchase it without knowing. This is what it said:

Welcome to tPF. In the future, please post in the format requested here as it helps in future searches for seller IDs and items: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-577470.html#post14912099

Your link doesn't work: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...1&si=zljpJ4gBIQZHg7FLIurZlNOHsiI%3D&viewitem=

It's impossible to authenticate the listing from waynelovebird123 from just one picture. The seller's current and completed listings appear to be current outlet items and the pictures appear to be his own.

We need to see several pictures in order to authenticate. If the seller will send you pictures of the front, back, side, interior and creed (clear and legible), we can look at them.

In the future, never purchase an item when the seller doesn't show enough pictures to prove authenticity. And ask here before bidding or buying.

I'm not sure that all the pictures belong to the seller. Pictures #2 and 4 appear to have been from a different source than the other pics in the listing.

Without knowing that a seller uses her own pictures, there's no way to know what you'll receive.

Ok thanks, I sent her a message and she never got back to me and I also noticed she hadnt logged in since december so Im not going to bother with this one.

Item: Madison shoulder bag
Listing: 160568333924
Seller: munklesnyc

Comments: This is the first time I've done this, so I hope I'm doing it correctly. Would appreciate it if someone can authenticate this purse, please? TIA
We need to see more pictures. Please request clear head-on closeups of the horse and carriage plaque and the creed.

Before doing business with this seller, you might want to check the feedback. There seem to be issues with the accuracy of her descriptions:

That's probably a good idea.
If a seller is non-responsive before the sale, imagine getting her to respond if there's a problem.

Very few items are "rare" or OOAK so chances are that another will be along.

Per Ebay rules, you have to pay for this item now that you have won it unless the seller will agree to cancel the sale. It is considered a legal binding contract. However, if you decide not to pay the only thing they can do to you is give your account a violation, so you may not be able to purchase items in the future. You should pay and when you receive the item take a bunch of pictures and submit them here for authentication. If it is not authentic, the seller has to accept a return and ebay will refund your money except the shipping charge.
Addition: I believe I just found the item you won: ebay item # 270729837919
I have seen this bag at the Coach factory store. Since I am not an expert I can't authenticate it, but I wouldn't worry.

Item Name: Janice's Legacy Coach 1995

I found this item at Goodwill on Friday. Please help Authenticate. It is British Tan and doesn't have a hang tag. I am planning on giving it a good cleaning but don't want to waste my time if it is a fake...will just destroy it and take it as a loss.
