Seller: kokos-closet

Although the bag in the listing appears to be okay, this seller plagiarized another seller's description. (Sellers have their own "styles" which help identify them.) kokos-closet made small changes to the specifics to match her bag but copied the format and rest of the text from another seller.

Sheesh, you'd think a top-rated seller would do her own work.

I am just making sure because I bought that bag yesterday. My first real coach purchase as the other one turned out to be fake and I was hoping this wasn't a fake.

Completely fake - and the person who's still selling this junk owes you a full refund. She's also breaking state AND federal law by selling counterfeits and might find the police or FBI banging on her door at 6AM some day.

This is the facebook of the store I bought it from.

I am not one to cause conflict or even know how to tell them that wallet they sold me was fake.

OMG! Someone should send these pictures to Coach, LV, Tory Burch, D&G. This looks like Canal Street, NYC:

Ooooooh brother.

It amazes me that a company apparently run and staffed by idiots like Coach seems to be even stays in business.

The F in the style number means this particular version was made for the outlets. The fact that the style # only has 4 digits and the # has a zero in front of it means it was originally an older style and the 06 for a year code means it was remade and re-issued in 2006. So I checked my old catalogs and guess what? Right on page 31 of the 2001 Fall Begins catalog is style # 5406, Coach Hamptons Travel Kit exactly like in the photos.

So now not only can't Coach tell real from fake but they can't even find legitimate style numbers that have been in their inventory for 10 years or more.

Don't EVER believe what a Coach employee tells you about serial numbers or authenticity. The employees are untrained, the record system has holes in it the size of Titanic, and the anything they might tell you regarding style or serial numbers and authenticity is TOTALLY unreliable. The item you bought is completely genuine.

I think someone just did, but more reports wouldn't hurt. Unfortunately they take a long time to act on reports, but there's a Coach boutique in Mishawaka less than 40 miles away so they can always ask a store manager to check out the location. Here's the reporting info for Coach's Counterfeits department:

Believe me, they know darn well that what they sold was fake. That wallet is really cheaply made and shouldn't have cost them more than 20 or 30 bucks, about one-tenth the price of a real Coach.

The picture below shows how the credit card pockets in a real Coach are made, click on the thumbnail to enlarge it:

Bumping.

If there was a reply, I missed it.

Are more pics needed to authenticate this one? I can't imaging those strings flying everywhere would be authentic for Coach. "strings from straps peel off" from seller description.
I saw your post but there's no way to authenticate it with the single poor picture.

Not only are there not enough pics but the one shown isn't even a full picture of the front of the bag.

We seen to see straight-on front, back, side(s), bottom, top, strap, creed and inside. If you get pictures and we need more, we'll request them.
