Hi DemRam, the seller just replied, he said the creed number is A0N-9870, but he is unable to upload more pics. I am asking him to send me some pics via email. Do you think this creed number is already fake?

There's no way to verify that something's genuine just from a serial number.

We ask for photos not just to see the number but so we can check the details of the stamping itself. The creed is actually the second most important part of the item when it comes to checking authenticity but we always need to see a clear legible photo.

If the seller won't send one, I'd look for another Court Bag - there are plenty on Ebay and Bonanza and the supply won't be drying up anytime soon.

Hi Hyachinth, the seller just sent me a photo of creed number, and said he guarantee it's authentic, could you take a look at it? Thank you so much~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There's NOTHING wrong with that clutch - genuine and with a GENUINE outlet stamp that was NOT faked back in the 1990s.

Here are a few photos of another one with a 1997 serial number I found and saved a while back, along with a scan of Coach's Spring 1997 catalog page 41 showing your EXACT clutch.

Hope this helps. :smile1:

(BTW, I've been researching Coach and Coach fakes for 5 or 6 years now and that turnlock with the squared-off ends was only used by Coach for about 2 or 3 years starting in 1997, and I've NEVER seen that copied on fakes. The turnlock and detailing in the turnlock tab, and the stamping of the creed statement is absolute proof that yours is genuine.)

Thank you so much! Do you mind if I copy your scan of the '97 Coach catalog and send it to the buyer? Might come in handy if the buyer opens a case against me too. I sent the buyer a link here, but I can not be sure the buyer will take a look.

Sure, go ahead. The only one who can sue me is Coach and I'm not too worried about it :D

(And just to correct myself, the squared-off turnlock came out in 1996, only on Business line items)

could you help authenticate please? I know the pictures are not great, she just added more but they still are not very clear hopefully you can still advise though! Thanks in advance
ITEM: Coach Legacy Luci
LISTING NUMBER: 290552467691

Hmm. Although the bag appears to be okay, the seller plagiarized the listing's description from another seller. (Certain "condition" details were altered to fit the condition of the bag but most of it is a direct copy and paste.)

I never recommend sellers who are too lazy to do their own work and unethical enough to copy from others.

sdbolts123 stole the description from this listing:

(Seller also has a negative feedback alleging sale of a fake. Whether it's true or not, I don't know.)

I believe that a4maseli is the picture thief.

In fact, a4maseli has listings for some Coach scarves. The listing shows a watermark indicating that it was stolen from a Japanese website.

a4maseli listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/NWT-COACH-MENS-...20813?pt=US_Scarves_Wraps&hash=item336612810d

Another listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/NWT-COACH-WOOL-...74550?pt=US_Scarves_Wraps&hash=item3366028a16

Pictures stolen from: http://store.shopping.yahoo.co.jp/fashion-labo/index.html

In fact, I don't recommed buying from a4maseli because most (if not all) the seller's listings use stolen pictures, many stolen copyrighted stock photos.
