1. looks okay but there should be a picture of the full creed
2. looks okay but there should be a picture of the full creed
3. no red flags but there should be many more pictures and description. With pre-owned bags, it's important for sellers to show pictures of the corners and interior so buyers know what condition the bag is in and the extent of wear and use.
4. Need more pictures. This is a frequently faked style and without additional pictures of the opposite side, hardware, strap and creed, it's impossible to authenticate.
5. Fake from seller chrissyt91

With the exception of chrissyt91's listing, the others show no red flags but need more pictures.

Thank You BB!

I have requested more pictures prior to asking here and I am still waiting.

The reply I received from item #230602406588 about it being authentic is "As far as I can tell it is real. It does have the leather patch inside with the serial number I gave in the write up. A female friend of mine told me that it is real all she owns are coaches"

That reply scares me.......

You're welcome.

Regarding seller brownshrooms response about item 230602406588, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...06588&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_fvi=1&_rdc=1 her response isn't good enough.

It's a seller's responsibility to authenticate her items before listing, especially in cases where the seller didn't personally purchase it herself from a legitimate department store or Coach store.

If the seller can't get proof that it's genuine (and that doesn't mean from her friend who "only carries expensive items,") then it's not allowed to be listed.

As for her comment regarding the existence of a creed, that means nothing in regard to authenticity. 99.9% of fakes have creeds too.

You might want to refer the seller here. If she cannot or will not supply the necessary pictures to prove authenticity, I'd hit the "back" button.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this Coach briefcase? I bought it for $4.00 at a thrift store. Just wondering if its authentic or not...thank you in advance! (sorry so gigantic) Zippers ARE YKK.

That's interesting, the patches are all correct, but the creed would probably have decided the question.

So what was your answer? :D
I told her that she can't sell fakes even if she admits it.

Off to request those pics.
The leather on the trim is wrong.

UPDATE: I emailed the seller who had (and still has) the listing in which she states that the bag is "a replica." I requested pictures and received them.

The bag IS fake.

In her response with the pictures, she told me she bought the bag at a purse party.

It's probably okay but bumping for noshoepolish. She's the briefcase expert.

It is a Double Zip Organizer Brief from 1997 in British Tan. Retail $496. From what I can see it looks good. Lighter bags tend to have ink marks and coffee stains on them.

Just got ahold of this key fob and took a quick picture with my phone...

It looks like 92195.. but gold metallic leather and rhinestone accents and a dog clasp closure vs. key ring...

is this a re-release with a different style number?

Thanks in advance for the help :)

I've never seen it but that doesn't mean it's not made.

Are there cut outs in the middle as there are on the blue one?

Can you get clear pictures of both sides of the lozenge hangtag? Also, please try to get a clear picture of the clip.

1. So far, so good pending a picture of the creed.

2. Although this pouch appears to be okay, the seller has a history of mixing fakes and authentic. If you google the "vallerga2005 fakes" there are several hits for the seller.

You might also want to take feedback into account:

3. Picture of the creed and tag (shown in pic 5) are needed. This is a well-faked style. Other opinions are welcome.

We really need to see a photo of the creed patch and serial number from inside the bag. It's never a good idea to bid on any Coach bag without a more complete set of photos, and creed photos are very important, as much as the ones of the outside.

It's also important for anyone bidding on a used bag to get photos of the inside and lining - you'd be amazed at how grungy a purse's lining can get. Better to see plenty of photos before you bid so there aren't any unpleasant surprises when you get the bag.

vallerga2005
This seller was discussed about a week ago, and can't be trusted to deliver a genuine Coach - do NOT bid:
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-577470-881.html#post18445010
Please also read the Toolhaus.org link showing the seller's less-than-stellar Feedbacks.

It seems ok but again we really need to see a readable photo the creed and serial number. More opinions would help since Gallery Tote styles are a favorite with counterfeiters..

Again, we need more & better photos.

I don't think they'd release a new Snowflake with a clip (which makes it a purse charm instead of a keychain) without giving it a new style number. And I don't like the look of the hardware.

Where did you find this one?

Has anyone seen any gold ones like this at the outlets?

I can tell you that on the receipt I have the wrong style number... I'll post pictures soon.

I bought that charm at the outlet last night! They had a bunch of them but none of them had tags attached.

It is white and gold leather with rhinestones and a silver dogleash clip. The SA looked it up in her book and rang it up as "92599 Pave Snowflake KF, Silver"

It was $14 ($20 minus the 30% coupon) but the MSRP is listed as $48.

Fob twins! It's very cute, enjoy!

It should scare you. Just because a bag has a patch with numbers, even though they may be the correct numbers, doesn't prove a thing.

And never trust a seller who shifts the burden of proof for authentication on a "female friend's" shoulders. Sellers are supposed to be absolutely certain their items are genuine.
