I bought the bag on Ebay for over $200 a few months back. I thought it was a fake because I bought it for less than half of the retail price of $498. The bag is in good used condition, and exactly as described. I am not a collector so don't know much about bags. What is your email address I will take pics for you. anything else that would help authenticate it? "
So I sent her my email address and waiting for a response
here are the ones she sent she said yahoo messenger gave her a size limit so if I need more to email her.
this looks real to me but seller said she doesnt know anything about it other than she paid $200 on ebay NWT which is why she claims its fake. she is going through her ebay and paypal to find her original seller.
she is missing a rivet on the handle u can see in the pic which is odd to me because on all my bags those suckers are on there good.
Please wait for other opinions but I don't believe it's authentic for several reasons.
1. The puffiness of the creed is suspect.
2. The studs on both the handle and on the bag appear to be smaller and rounder than they should be.
3. Stitching doesn't look quite right.
I'm not sure of this, but I dont' believe the bag came with gold/brass colored hardware. I think the hardware on the black bag is supposed to be silver.
And I have a comment regarding the seller's attitude about the price she says she paid. IMO, $200 is a lot of money and I'd sure as he[[ have my bag authenticated and fight for a refund if I'd been scammed for that much money!
There's no way I'd eat that loss, at least not willingly.
I hope Starry (or someone else who has this bag) will stop by with an opinion.
