Comments: I would like to know if the above wristlet and this one are authentic. Thanks :)

Probably okay but there should be (at the very minimum) a photo of the inside.

Hey,

Can you authenticate this item for me? Any red flag? Thanks!

I wouldn't buy this item (or another item) from chm84s1234 because she doesn't use her own pictures in any of her listings. Most are stock photos stolen from Coach's website and others appear to be stolen from other sellers or sources.

There's no way to know what you'll receive when the seller doesn't show pictures of the actual items they sell.

Thanks. This time I am happy that I got outbid. Still biding is frustrating, I am always short by $1.

I don't see any problems that a little TLC can't cure. :smile1:

Thank you! I almost bought a different British Tan bag at the Salvation Army store yesterday. It was in very good shape except for a missing hangtag. It was similar in shape and construction to a bucket bag but it was a bit smaller than a City Bag. It had the same kind of flat, oval bottom with piping all around.

It was $20, the same price as the City Bag and the Basic Bag combined. It was something new to me and I'm sure that it would have been a very easy rehab.

The City Bag and Basic Bag are really dirty and pretty beat up and they have some nasty-looking dark spots, so I am sure that they will be more challenging rehabs. But they are intact, still have their hangtags, and they don't smell like mildew - so those are good things!

I already have a black City Bag and a gray Basic Bag but they are such classic styles and I love the leather on the USA bags. I just had to try to save them, wish me luck!

Item: Three Coach Bags

Hi, I have three bags I would like to have authenticated and possibly the names. The chestnut colored bag feels funny to me. I think it is from a factory outlet store but I could be wrong. Love the old and hope it i authentic. Thanks in advance!
Sue

The first 2 are ok, the third is questionable and maybe fake. The box or cartouche around the creed is uneven, the serial # is way off-center and the digits aren't lined up, and the month code and plant codes are wrong if the first digit is a capital "i" and the spacing of the letters in the creed statement is also very uneven. It looks like a handmade stamp instead of something Coach would have made. Sorry.

Now that I think of it, the other bag that I almost bought was probably a Worth bag, and I already do have that bag in navy. I just have too many vintage bags to keep track of them all!

I need to do something with them. Sell them or give them away or stop buying them! But I really enjoy finding them and working on them so I keep doing it! :confused1:
