That style bag has been at the outlets for the last year or more in a bunch of different colors. The wallets are older styles that have probably been around for at least 4 or 5 years now, and the price is reasonable as long as your friend can use all three pieces.

I have comments about the Singapore seller's pictures and description.

1. Description states that tag and care card are missing yet photo shows the tag attached. You might want to verify that two of the pictures are the actual item. (The third photo showing the lining of the open bag came from the original seller's listing.)
2. The seller copied and pasted the description from the original seller. It's possible that the original seller gave permission to use her text but generally, sellers should do their own work.)
3. I'm not concerned that the pattern placement differs from original listing. The original seller sold more than one bag of the same style and used the same pictures in both listings.

Please request a clear closeup of the creed as well as questioning the existence/lack of the price tag.

We really need more pictures because wallets are "well" faked but so far, it appears to be okay.

Some wallets did/do come with dustbags, most notably, the exotics collection (snakeskin) came with a small flannel dustbag.

Although I've never seen the dust bag in the picture and I don't believe it came with that wallet, I don't see any red flags.

Other opinions are welcome re authenticity but I do think more pictures need to be posted before it goes to the deals thread.

I'm not comfortable with that wallet. The newer Sohos all seem to have a double row of stitches around the edge of the leather tab that goes through the buckle. It'll take a while but I'll check my older catalogs for early Soho styles and see if the stitching is different. Please don't add it to the Deals thread yet.

The dustbag is from the old Madison collection from the mid 1990s.

There were a few similar styles with single stitching from around 1994 but I haven't been able to find a Checkbook style wallet, just a Slim Envelope style # 8641. There's a similar Checkbook one listed on Ebay but that's not enough to make me 100 percent sure that it's real.

Hi, I am new, just registered. Wanted to say hi and make sure my registration was a success. There is a store near me that recently added a few coach bags and they were told they are authentic. I told the owner I would try to find out some information online to see what are ways to determine if they are fake or not and found your site. I think I will ask her if I can take a picture of each purse and it's creed and ask for your expertise. She is a church member where I attend and she really wouldn't want to sell an item she was lied to about. This is a GREAT site, love it. Keep up the great work!

Both look okay although #2 should have more pictures. (Please wait for other opinions because wallets can be tricky.)

And just to note, seller #1 recently got an undeserved neg from a buyer. Buyer had also posted on the ebay boards about another Coach bag she purchased implying that it was fake when it was not fake. The seller's items look fine and in this case, the neg shouldn't deter potential bidders.

The letter "A" charm looks okay.

Regarding the wallet from rlong29392, I have my doubts. The engraving on the turnlock looks wrong, i.e., I see it frequently on fakes. Please wait for other opinions.

The same seller also has a fake Coach bag:

YUCK.

They're ALL fake - fake styles, really badly made and stamped creed patches, phony linings, phony serial numbers and wrong style numbers - that store needs to contact whoever tried to stick them with those nasty things and tell them to take their business somewhere else. There's nothing right about any of them.

And whoever sold them needs to be told that selling counterfeit merchandise is against both state and US federal laws.
