Hi experts,

I have a general question. I recently bought a Coach bag from a second hand store. There is a metal piece on the side of the bag says Coach New York. I've never see these kind of writing on a Coach bag. Is this an indication of fake bag?

I will have the picture of the bag later but thought to ask this question first. If the "Coach New York" is already an indication of a fake, there is no point for you to authenticate.

We need to see pictures to authenticate but it sounds like a type of Mercer bag. (The metal plate isn't indicative of fake but it doesn't prove authenticity either.)

It appears to be fine pending a photo of the creed. Note that the bag isn't vintage as the seller describes. It's from approx 5-7 years ago.

#1 - Looks good

#2 - Might be okay but the seller doesn't show enough pictures in any of their listings. Many of the listings use stolen stock photos as the gallery pictures. Sellers shouldn't be using Coach's copyrighted pictures.
