This is another case that comes with the glasses when customers buy the glasses. The cases aren't sold separately.

I think you might have misunderstood my comments. This seller isn't selling the sunnies. He's only selling the case. My comment stated that the cases aren't sold as free-standing items.

The sunglass cases you've asked about are not sold by Coach. They are only available to customers who buy a pair of glasses, i.e., the case is included as part of the purchase.

If a customer goes to a Coach store and asks for a case for their Coach glasses (presumably to replace a lost case?), the SA will often give them a free replacement.

Since the cases aren't available for sale, how are these people getting that many items to sell? Are they requesting free "replacements" and taking advantage of Coach's liberal good will?

As for selling them, this is the policy on the prohibited accessories items. It says that if an accessory is included free of charge with a purchased item, that accessory can't be sold separately.

I believe the items you've asked about are authentic. I was just scratching my head about whether they're allowed to be listed or is ebay just ignoring the listings?

Oh, thank you for clearing that up. I completely misunderstood.

I bought a pair of Coach prescription eyeglasses at local eyeglass store and they do not have Coach cases.

Is there someplace I could purchase a Coach case from Coach?

If you purchased Coach glasses, usually the optician has cases but if not, go to your local mall Coach boutique or outlet. Have your glasses with you and request a replacement case. They'll probably give you one.

Hi Hyacinth and Been-Burned,
A while back I submitted some photo's of what I thought was possibly a vintage coach but without a creed. Hyacinth you told me to look around in the pockets to see if the was a hidden label of some kind. I found a stamp of some kind on the opposite wall from where the creed would have been. I do not have a picture in this link of the pocket but it is free of creed and has brass pull fob and zipper. I was hoping you could take a look at it again. Everything feels like the old classics but I'll let you decide. Thanks!
Sue

I've never seen that kind of stamping before, and I'm not familiar enough with the really old purses to say either way. Maybe someone else will recognise it but it's a pretty generic style and any good leather manufacturer could have made it. Please wait for more opinions though.

The light tan one in the center may be a Stewardess Bag but we'd need more photos. The small one at the lower right may be a Mini Belt Bag but without being able to see how the strap attaches, that's just a guess.

That's gray in the center and it's JUST LIKE a stewardess bag but smaller, and without feet. The numbers were stamped in gold then, and have long since worn off, but it was the kind with a letter and a short number...I mailed in the registration card at the time, but that means nothing 25 years later... The small one IS a belt bag! Thanks! Anybody else have ideas?

More photos would help and so would measurements. It's really hard to ID an older bag from just one photo. If it's about 8x6 it may be a Small Shoulder Bag but without more information that's the best I can do.

Thank you for taking the time to look at it again. I appreciate what you all do!

Please help me authenticate this bag that I desperately want to buy.

Comments: It says condition is new without tags (Can we trust this?)

Thank you!
Although I don't see any obvious problems, I'd like to see a picture of the creed.

I also noticed that a lot of her other items are described NWOT which concerns me. I understand the occasional item missing its tags, but I see red flags when none of the "new" items have their tags.

Comments: I have a feeling it is but want to make sure.
This seller does something that seems to be a trend lately. She appears to buy and disassemble Coach keychains and she uses the charms to make lanyards and jewelry.

As long as she's selling items with authentic charms, she's within the law. But IMO, she isn't clear enough in the descriptions that that items are NOT Coach items but just use Coach charms.

Both look good but #1 should have several more detailed pictures including a clear and legible picture of the creed and a picture of the front plaque.

Here are the pictures the seller sent me:
